To be completely fair, most (if not all) of the box art and collectible cards for Combiner Wars are ripped straight out of the Transformers Legends mobile card scam game, which is also why they don't match the toys. They've served their purpose and the artists have gotten probably more than their fair compensation, based on how much money people are willing to dump into that game, so it's not this hugely disrespectful thing if someone doesn't want to keep the card, though I agree that nifty freebies like that shouldn't just be dismissed as "uesless" in a "why did they even bother" kind of attitude.

Thats a good idea. I think the whole thing is detachable. We've seen it on his arm and in his hand. Does the gun barrel look like it telescopes in and out?
EDIT: Just looked at all the pics on this page. It does telescope, but in the shot of Megs(just above) that appears to be the farthest in it goes.
The more I look at the back end of that barrel, the more I'm hoping that it's hollowed out so you can just reverse the cannon around. That'll work for me.

Just goes to show how much more "evil" G1 Megs is over the other Emperors of Destruction.

KnightAero wrote:Ok so QC levels on these deluxe's I am a little on the side of caution. I let me kids play for a while ... Within a few short seconds one broke off a tail fin (easily placed back.) Some upon exiting the packaging joints were exceedingly loose to me. Which any joints that are "already" lose time shows that they only get looser.
However when it comes to overall appeal they are hardly a let down. While they may be "shell-formers" for realistically what would you do with all the parts especially being a "Combiner." Probably take a lot of time and money to get that which is why we see such lower prices on these.
They really are a great G1 homage and curious to seeing them up next to a G1 figure (I am sure people have done this.)

I think if I can get his feet fixed... (Ex different feet...) might not need that degree of legs being extended...

Can he go chicken-legged, or does the whole thing come crashing down?

Are you thinking of bending the knees backward, a-la Whirl? There are no ankle swivels at all, so I believe it would make it highly unstable. But, that is an interesting concept to check out...

this is how I have Megaton displayed, you can see from the (out of focus) weapon that it has a hollow end, so you can have it as a traditional fusion cannon type weapon.
