See, now something like that could work a little better in terms of story. That's how Alpha Bravo and Powerglide were introduced, and Cyclonus has shown - on multiple occasions - that his devotion to and admiration of Cybertron knows no bounds. Hmm. :-?

This sounds like a fun enough imaginary scenario to get him and play with him whether it's in the books or not. Thanks SB!

I can dig creating an outside the box explanation as to how some characters could get in on the war. That said, I'm kind of hoping that some voyagers are toys for their own sake and not involved in the actual story.

Mainly because I don't want the CW resolution to be "Optimus combines to form Optimus Supreme and saves the day.". I like the big guy, but I'd also like to give someone else a chance.

Either Galvatron(us) is mind controlling everybody, or his insanity is contagious. I'm not sure which is more terrifying.

I must admit, this Cyclonus-Galvatron combiner is a lot more interesting than any of the others, the first one I'm half tempted to actually buy. There's just something about one well-known character turning into another, who's completely unlike the other, that I find fascinating.

And if it turns out to be that Galvatronus is just Galvatron's spark possessing Cyclonus or something like that, well, it wouldn't be the first time:

Hasbro will influence the comics to sell toys but the inverse doesnt apply. If the comics are different (like the way Whirl looks), that will not affect a toy's development.
Not to mention that it's only the Deluxes that get pack-in comics, so Voyagers aren't as required to get some comic appearances.

I haven't gotten any Combiner Wars deluxes yet (very hard for me to find except for that one time I had no money, ugh) so I have to ask, these pack in comics, are they tied to IDW continuity? I'm really behind in the IDW books but I am enjoying the experience of catching up a lot. Great content.

They're reprinted issues of the relevant story arc. For some of the guys last year it was Dark Cybertron, now it's Combiner Wars.

Also, here's a nice big picture of Galvatronus I screencapped myself.

Now story wise, I can see something like this happening in the next combiner wars series, especially if Galavtron gets it in the mean time

I was thinking about Defensor and his limbs. For Wave 1, Drag Strip is noticeably taller than guys like Alpha Bravo, so it's kinda awkward to have Drag Strip as anything else other than an arm. What's going to happen when we get Blades, Streetwise and First Aid, who initially show up as repaints in Wave 1 and Wave 2. Are Streetwise and First Aid going to be the same height as Fireflight, Sky Dive, and Blades, or was Drag Strip just a fluke?

Did you flip Drag Strip's bottom section forward to reveal the second foot port? Seems to be the right height when you do that.

If your referring to Drag Strip's height in leg mode, there is a step in his transformation missing from the instructions. The spoiler and back end of the car are hinged and fold up over the back wheels revealing a hidden 5mm port for the foot. This makes his leg mode the same height as everyone else.

EDIT:pardon the redundancy of post. :D

Fellow Seibertronian worldsgreatest has just let us know that they have found the second wave of Transformers Generations Combiner Wars, or rather, the Voyager Motormaster figure at a Target store in Columbia, MD! Check out the photo proof below, and rev your engines for the weekend hunt. Undecided? Why not check out the Seibertron.com gallery of the figure here?
