Hasbro has just informed us that the Deluxe Wave 03 Case assortment has been cancelled. This case contained Rattrap, Tankor and Crosscut. They have confirmed that all three figures will be released, but they will be spread over various future assortments. Hasbro has solicited a Wave 03 Revision assortment that contains Rattrap and Tankor and some Wave 02 figures. Crosscut has been pushed to a future and currently unknown assortment. We have some unfortunate news for those of you who have been patiently awaiting the release of Transformers Generations Deluxe Wave 3 (Rattrap, Tankor, Crosscut), it's been cancelled. Site owner Seibertron, and many of you reading this as well, just received the email below from BigBadToyStore customer service. The good news is all three will still be released in future waves. Hasbro has solicited a revision of wave 2 that will include Rattrap and Tankor. Crosscut on the other hand has been delayed to a future yet to be announced wave.

Update: Apparently Transformers Generations Deluxe Wave 5 has suffered the same fate. This wave features the highly anticipated, though yet to be revealed Arcee and Chromia figures. Again, Hasbro states the figures will be released, just in future waves.

Well, that's hardly surprising given that Age of Extinction has already hit the shelves (thank you stores for breaking shelf dates). Thankfully Hasbro has a backup plan for them, we just need to wait a bit longer.

Again, the Wave is canceled, but not the Figures. Just shouting that out to make sure everyone gets the message. >:oP

So since they combined the recent wave with Rattrap and Tankor, we can expect to start seeing rats and blue tanks on shelves very soon?

I'm more annoyed by Arcee and Chromia than this wave. We haven't even seen what they look like, and they've been delayed. What gives?

Yeah, I had my doubts about this wave all along, as the only G1 character was far and away the most obscure, as well as it consisting of only 3 figures instead of 4.

Oh well, this is less a test of my patience than wondering if Waspy and Skids' original case and the Ruination wave will ever show up in the bargain basement stores.

Let's just face it. Nobody cares about Arcee. She didn't have a toy in G1, she had a couple of appearances in Transformers: Energon, she had limited screen time in Revenge of the Fallen and died, she had limited appearances in Transformers: Animated, and Arcee had a notable appearance throughout Transformers: Prime. A cancellation of her wave is something that people don't pay attention to. You can say that I'm weird, but I feel sorry for Arcee and all of the damages she's been through. :sad:

I have read a few with Arcee, but the comic store 5 miles away from me has very little of Transformers comics. Plus, comics are hard to find. Arcee's activity outside the comics is looking bad though.

Yay! I'm nobody! (Hmm... Not sure how I feel about that, actually...)

I've been looking forward to some news on this figure, and "her wave is canceled" is not what I was hoping for. Ah, well, at least the figure itself is (supposedly) still to be released eventually...

Man, I just hope that the figure is a decent Classics style update of G1 Arcee, and that she isn't impossible to get. Animated Arcee with a new head is an okay placeholder, but I'd love a true Classics Arcee someday.

I'm okay with the delay, as long as it doesn't turn into a cancellation. I guess we were hoping for too much when we though Hasbro could be smart enough to release both Age of Extinction and classics-styled figures under the Generations line at the same time. Oh well, saves me money for several months at least. I can put all that savings into an MP Ultra Magnus fund.
