Sabrblade wrote:It looks like this manga is continuing what was started in the e-HOBBY Magna Convoy manga in which Bludgeon was watching monitors that showed "The warriors who have inherited the Seven Lights divided from "The One"," and with this we see those seven groups each led by a Convoy or a Prime (the text uses either name for certain ones) and each possessing the White Matrix, the Green Matrix, the Red Matrix, the Yellow Matrix, the Black Matrix/Black Legendisc, the Purple Matrix, and the Silver Matrix of the Blue Corps.Skritz wrote:So wait is Primus calling some rainbow-hued Lantern Corps of Primes/Convoys redecos?
Another thing of note is that it looks like this manga has officially retconned TFTM by claiming that Unicron specifically used Angolmois Energy to upgrade Megatron and his fallen troops into Galvatron and Friends. This... actually isn't quite a new idea since, back in Beast Wars II, when Megastorm was upgraded into Gigastorm via Angolmois Energy, the same grid-based visual effect that accompanied Megatron's upgrade into Galvatron during the movie was also used for Megastorm's upgrade. This comic is just streamlining the similarities of those two events by making them both having used the same energy.

Yeah, the storyline of this Selects manga has been pretty crazy. All of these colored-coordinated characters appear to not actually the characters that they resemble, but are instead members of a group called the Primus Vanguard, divided into seven units based on color: White, Green, Red, Yellow, Black, Purple, and Blue, and with each of these seven armies led by a Convoy or a Prime (both names are used in the text) who each bear a Matrix based on their respective color.Seibertron wrote:Interesting the SG Optimus Prime has G1 Bugly and Octopunch behind him, while on the monitor next to Cyberverse (?) Shockwave are the Transformers Animated creature versions of Bomb-Burst and Submarauder.
