My seacons are in storage right now and my God Neptune is going under the tree, so I can't say for sure about the ability to attach as armor some way.
Unfortunately Gnaw doesn't really have anything that can be used as a 5mm post except for his mace handle. Best option might be using the 5mm ports in the bot hands/shark feet and one of the seacon guns that have 5 mm posts on the barrel and back as a handle to fashion a giant mace/fist the combiner hand could hold.
Hmmm, my sharkicons are already out. I may have just talked myself into digging out the seacons.

I have 2 sharks, maybe I'll try putting something together with them.
I love the team, they looks great together. And Halfshell may be the best and favorite of the combiner torsos. I like him more than Turtler, and I love the way they made this mold. There's a lot to love.

also, Beast Wars II!!!!!

However...Gigastorm was one of those odd coincidences that just worked. The fact that Trypticon was never to scale meant he was just a "bigger than average" Transformer, not a Titan, which worked for Gigastorm and BWII. Personally, I'd want Black Zarak and Metrotitan (If we are talking repaints/slight retools), from Titans before Gigastorm. The ideal thing would be to make a brand new toy sized roughly the same as the original Trypticon/Gigastorm, but with modern engineering (basically a scaled town TR Trypticon), but I doubt that would happen either.
Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Not what I was going for...but I love it all the same. That is awesome!
So after taking my God Neptune out, messing with it for a bit, and assembling it. I do have to objectively say, I like God Neptune better. I had the originals of both Piranacon and God Neptune, and now both TT Selects.

Wow, good thing I decided to cancel them as I just was charged for G2 Sandstorm. I miss the days when Pulse would send an email giving a heads up that an order is about to be charged. I do hope the Cordon/Spinout pack comes back into stock but I am definitely glad I'm not being charged for two orders his morning.

On some selects notes, I did finally get Hot Shot after he was restocked on Pulse. I like him. I wish he had larger shoulders, but I like him. The headsculpt and colors are nice, and he will go good with Galaxy Prime

Also, Halfshell is the best combiner torso to come from all the CW/PotP/Selects stuff. I have spoken.

I'm unpacking the Seacons one at a time, with Scylla the first since she is a lady, and yesterday I pulled out Halfshell. I completely agree with this statement. His ratchets are all nice and clicky, plus the accessories make him an incredibly stocky boi. The colors go really well together; the turquoise and white with gold accents pop. Not sure who I will unpack today, but I am delighted with this set so far.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Also, Halfshell is the best combiner torso to come from all the CW/PotP/Selects stuff. I have spoken.

This may be controversial, but I dont care:
I would be perfectly OK with considering Halfshell a Leader class figure considering the parts and accessories count. He is very good and very well equipped. I love him by himself, let alone as a combiner

Oof, I'm in the same boat and already cancelled Super Megatron because of it. I was fine after cancelling him, but now another $40 for the lambros. I'm hoping BBTS will be a little late on G2 Sandstorm and at least not charge him until next month.

Well, I was charged for both preorders. Dammit.
I am hoping against hope that the SG set isn't moved up like Sandstorm, that is another $50 that will hurt.
If there is a plus side to this, it's that I won't have another Pulse preorder set to arrive until the Marvel Legends Spiderverse figures in February, and if for some reason the SG set comes my next Pulse TF preorder will either be Soundblaster at the end of March(but I'm expecting another 2 month delay on him) or Kingdom Wave 2 in May

I recall you have/like the OG from Cybertron. I've found Aragon is an excellent color match for weaponizing. You can use his arms to sort of mimic Cybertron Hot Shot's shoulder cannons.

Seriously though, it's nice the items are coming out, I hope it doesn't starin anyone too much financially. My last 2 items for 2020 are on their way from BBTS should be here Friday (or hopefully before), then I can close the book on 2020 satisfied knowing I got pretty much everything on my wont list. The only items I have on pre-order from Pulse now are the Two Combiners (Volcanicus & Abominus), but those will both come in after tax refunds, so I should be ok, plus I plan to sell of my PotP versions to try to recoup some of the cost of them.

I do have the original and do love it! It's why I didn't want to get this one because I have a good one already, but the extra posing and the great head and colors won me over on it after over a year.
Hmm, that does look good, but I like having my 3 Powerdashers together as a team on the bot shelf!

As for the original's shoulder cannons... Honestly, the gun the SIEGE Hound mold comes with looks to have been designed for resemblance. So if you were to bum a spare off a Hound, or cast a duplicate with resin, and paint it up...
