Sentinel_Primal wrote:Overall, I'm more surprised that we didn't see the second voyager and leader, or any core class figures. Is there another event coming up? Cause if Wave 1 comes out December like the other lines, that's not too much time? Or is Wave 1's missing voyager and leader Soundwave and Galvatron refreshes? Cause they don't tend to show off the refreshes for the lines
Mindmaster wrote:IIRC, either Blaster or Armada Starscream are supposed to be the second Voyager (the other being Wave 2) but I guess they held off on them and the Cores for a later time. BBTS has listings for Bulkhead and a “mystery figure”.

Both of whom look really, really good.
All I really want are these new Insecticons, Stunticons, and Blitzwing, the other 3 Dinobots, Blaster and Perceptor and and I will be so close to bowing out of the collecting game.
Everything/anything else along the way is just icing
Around the time Kingdom was announced, I thought it was going to be my last line for that reason: between Prime Wars, WfC, and a few figures I pulled in from the T30 era, I was going to have a near-complete G1 animated lineup. Then they announced SS86 and TF:TM Kingdom figures, most of whom I had from Prime Wars. Not only did I buy all of those versions, I decided to get the BW cast too. Now with Legacy I'm purchasing additional Insecticons and Stunticons and dabbling in Prime.
What I mean is, for some of us, there's no exit.
BRB digging through bins to determine what I should unload at the con this weekend.

One more pretool for another character I guess.

ya beat me to it lol. but ya, Prime Arcee did not skip leg day. or arm day. or any of the days. agreed with the pre-tool. Not that I needed another Prime Arcee, I have the FE, the RiD, the NYCC, AND the R.E.D. (I dont have a problem, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!) but once again, like Bulkhead before, this just doesn't fit the character. She doesnt need to be feminine, but she does need to be lithe, something that looks sleek and nimble. kind of a defining trait of Prime Arcee.
well, that and back luck with partners...

Feel like comparing a modern release, even an exclusive like this, to a Japan-only release from 20+ years ago is a little misrepresentative.
It's overcharging for a figure because they think they can. At that price, it's largely scalper bait. Others can justify it to themselves however they want, it's a bad price point for a deluxe figure.

Given that this new toy is based on G1, its possible the combiner peg is simply on his back, out of view. It could still be the Combiner Wars peg, wont know for sure until we see how it combines.

Minor thing: That model is miscolored and uses the wrong head. It's from a Ukranian fansite that colored in the black-and-white models of the Ark artbooks based on various random sources, and slapped on whatever heads they could get from screengrabs.

I felt honored to finally be able to make Bulkhead look like he belongs in our G1 universe!

From the sound of things, some of the other exclusives are pretty overpriced too, maybe Hasbro just wanted them to all be around a certain price point across the board for some idiotic reason, either that or the die-cast components are really costly to do nowadays

That is very little. Where did you get the number?
