It was pointed out repeatedly that that's the original Armada figure in the pictures. Unless I'm missing something...?chuckdawg1999 wrote:So we're getting a Legacy Overload to go with Armada Prime? Nice.

Was it that way in the series? The original super mode figure has red eyes, so they werent going for toy accuracy.Sabrblade wrote:Wow, that truck grill is bland.
And his Super Mode eyes should be red, not the same golden yellow as his mouthplate, ears, and everywhere else it's found on his body.

Ooooffff...
And the fact that it's not Knock-Out, but Knock-Outish doesn't help his case.

Places haven't gotten last year's wave 3 and my walmarts are still at last year's wave 1.

He's not less accurate than the previous toy we got of Knockout, and the car mode is great. So, eh

Armada Prime looks to be the 2nd figure this year (after Tarn) that will beat out the 3P MP scale option, giving us a much wanted transforming character that ticks all the boxes and is significantly cheaper than the 3P option.

I have similar hopes for SS86 Ultra Magnus.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

The original can barely point his arms forward.
This one, may be able to get his hands close enough, but both modes have solid fingers, so no way to interlock them to recreate that attack
.

I was under the impression that Super Mode had Jetfire-style hands. Not perfect but good enough for a little GGG homage.
