While I won't say they're "DISGUSTANG," they are a bit of a disappointment in that their inevitable repaints mean there will not be a Combiner Wars sized Monstructor.

They're rumors until they're officially confirmed, that's just how that works. Same thing with "Nintendo is working on a new Mario game," everyone knows it's happening, there's plenty of supporting evidence, but there's no direct proof yet.

I'm super happy with how good Swoop looks. She will be the best Dinobot in the core class by far it seems.

Scarr looks cool too, I am happy to see him get a toy.

While there's no official confirmation of the Commander Class figure for the Legacy Evolution line, it's widely speculated to be Optimus Prime from the Transformers: Armada cartoon. Thanks to Seibertronian Casey280, we have an image from a Twitter account, though the exact account isn't currently known. The image shows what appears to be Armada Optimus Prime in robot mode, truck mode, and super robot mode. While the origin of the image is unknown, it looks to be a similar style to previously leaked figures. It also doesn't appear to be the Armada Optimus figure shown some years back, but a brand new mold.

Additionally, thanks to a tip from Seibertronian Omegatron., we were pointed in the direction of the Transformers Botposting group on Facebook, we have an in hand image of the toy in truck mode.

Hopefully, we'll get a confirmation or reveal of this toy soon, but until we do, what do you all think? Let us know in the comments below!

If this is fake then it's a really good fake. Hands are done the same way Hasbro does a lot of large hands with a thin 5mm hold in them and smoke stacks of effect part posts on them. Super mode crotch is a little low, but overall looks just like the original with more articulation. I wonder if there's any chance of a cartoon version that replaces the gold with yellow like the Japanese version? Just an observation, but the missile array on his back being removable makes for a good place to stick Overload.

Bring on all the crazy repaints!

The truck mode and Super Prime look amazing, I will reserver my thoughts on the cab Optimus after we get more images of him.

Tell me something, Hasbro. Why is it so hard for you to get the shoulders right on Armada Optimus's standard robot mode? You failed to get them right on the original Super Base toy, successfully got them right on the Super-Con figure, and have now replicated the failure of the Super Base figure's shoulders on this figure. Heck, even Takara's prototype that they showed off with Selects Star Convoy had correct shoulders. Why, Hasbro? Why, outside of the Super-Con toy, do you insist on making Armada Optimus perpetually lifting his shoulders above his head?

Looking at the two different images closely of the prototype and this leak, they 100% do not match.
Of course I don't doubt plans may have changed or maybe some parts had to be retooled to match newer safety standards - or heck, like you said it's probably to lessen parts counts to fit into the budget better.
But I also think they might do what the original toyline did by having a special combining OP and then a standard one alongside it with better articulation + the bells and whistles of current Legacy stuff! ;)^
