Then he will have to get a blue Grimlock after all.
Check tfwiki, we shouldn't start a war over this lol. I honestly dont know who is right.

They're both right, they're talking about two different comics.

I seriously need tf comics. Haven't read any ever, and I plan to stay faaaaaar away from IDW as possible.

The older IDW stuff is fantastic, the newer stuff, not so much, although I liked the Beast Wars comic and King Grimlock. The run to beat though is the og Marvel/Marvel UK run. There is good and bad within each companies attempt with the brand.
RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:My issue with IDW is more personal. I'm a Christian. Many of IDW's ideas are offensive.
Funnily enough, the two UK G2 comics I said he was blue in were then followed by Marvel G2 issues, wherein he was gray, meaning he reverted from blue to gray in those as well.Rodimus Prime wrote:It's been a decade at least since I read the G2 comics, it's time to get back into it. I guess G2 Grimlock did make an appearance in this one story, but since he's reverted back to gray in the rest of the issues, along with the other Dinobots, I just chalked this up to miscoloration. It's happened in the comics once or twice.
But yeah, a set of G2 Dinobots (whether SS86 or Legacy) would be Prime.

Ah I see
I wonder if that's at the artist's discretion or if Hasbro was flip-flopping on seriously trying to market the G2 Dinobots. I doubt it, since only Grimlock changed colors, the others stayed the same.Sabrblade wrote:Funnily enough, the two UK G2 comics I said he was blue in were then followed by Marvel G2 issues, wherein he was gray, meaning he reverted from blue to gray in those as well.Rodimus Prime wrote:It's been a decade at least since I read the G2 comics, it's time to get back into it. And, chronologically, those two UK-original issues can sorta fit between Marvel G2 issues #3 and #4, so with "Ghosts" only being able to fit during the events of issue #2, Grimlock goes gray-blue-gray-blue-gray throughout the whole of it.
It was definitely a conscious decision in the two UK-original issue since those two featured a whole host of G2 toy characters that never appeared in the Marvel issues: Skram, the Stormtroopers, the Skyscorchers, the G2 Firecons, and Clench.Rodimus Prime wrote:I wonder if that's at the artist's discretion or if Hasbro was flip-flopping on seriously trying to market the G2 Dinobots. On the flipside, I too am a practicing Christian and I always saw Christ as someone who sided with the downtrodden, the minorities, the ones who people would have prejudice against. So I always figured he'd help out the gays and transgendered if ever there was something done against them. Or at least ask us to understand, love them and accept them. And the later IDW stories highlights that there are many different types of relationships in this world (especially when most robots are male).
But I do get how Jews may find a man laying with another man against their text since that is more of an old testament/tora approach to seeing things.
Regardless, the later IDW stories are very well written, just as Transformers fiction. They take things to different places and even give you a sense of how Optimus and Megatron fought these eon lasting wars. I'm glad I gave those a chance as I feel I would have missed out if I ignored them.
As for the G2 12 part series, I would love to read that too. I'd love to own it. But there arent complete sets on e-bay. These books are worth 2-4$ a pop so anything over 50$ for a complete set sounds quite egregious. I'll look for them at my next local comiccon.

Your opinion is personal to you and in no way is representative of Christians as a whole. It is not a Christian opinion. It is also discriminatory, which goes against the rules of the site. So, as D-Max said, just stop now.

You started the discussion on the topic then say stop. But everything RodimusPrimeUkraine said was and is in the Bible and Christian theology. I have a Masters degree in Theology and read/study in Hebrew/Greek and Aramaic. But that is not my opinion, its fact, so I wanted to clear that up. I have nothing else to say on the matter.
Jhiaxus however is super badass I must agree. I just got mine yesterday. What someone a few posts ago said about it being great all around with no hollow spots is exactly right and what I would write about it as well but better said.
