I honestly think Prowl makes the most sense of the 2, the mold already comes with the right weapon and all the kibble goes in the right spots except the torso being flipped. What do you find lazy about it?RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:I definetely see cybertron ransack, but prowl feels a little lazy.I think they're sticking to only doing Action Master updates that work as repaints of existing figures right now, like Jackpot and Slicer. That would be a cool concept though, in a What-If G2 Laser Cycle kinda way.RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:Still want a g1 prowl that turns into the action master motorcycle though.
Hmmmm.... maybe

If that's the case then it's just a re-release of the Netflix Optimus Prime set.
Eneraz and Sheeldron are namedropped in the description. It's just the Netflix Optimus Prime from 2020.blackeyedprime wrote:Dunno what this is:

Expecting dissapointment though hahah, it will probably be on the same level as that *rescue bots? bumbleebee pack with three whole bumblebees.

Yep, the listing even indicates the shield and axe battlemasters.

Except the Optimus in that set is the Earthrise version.
Which is not the same as "Siege Prime + two weaponizers."ZeroWolf wrote:sol magnus wrote:TF-fan kev777 wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Siege Prime + two weaponizers?

Technically I just said it was the Netflix Prime release
blackeyedprime wrote:Makes sense, looks like entertainer bought some stock off hasbro cheeeap (Roadranger/puffer, retro rattrap) and is charging more than retail for most of them they probably got the netflix prime at same time (even if it was a semi smyths exclusive).

It was. And the toy line was equally as good. Pulled off the cartoon aesthetic quite well.
Sabrblade wrote:Other have reported the same for Springer and Bulkhead, too.o.supreme wrote:Probably not the right thread, but did anyone just get it email from Amazon saying wreck and rule twin twist is coming next week? Mine shows July 20th
AllNewSuperRobot wrote:RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:this shows how G1 fans felt when they saw Prime designs.
But that comparison is apples and oranges? Prime isn't G1. It was never implied/stated/presented as a continuation of G1. No show has been designed to look like Sunbow really.
As I've said in other threads, There is more to Transformers nearing 40 franchise than just the first 3-5 years. The franchise would have ended long ago if that was the case.
To release figures under a branding of "Legacy" without being faithful to the context-specific part, is very disingenuous. If they released Animated Wreck-Gar in this line. Just as an extensive retool of Siege Ironhide, for example. Then that isn't Animated Wreck-Gar.
Sentinel_Primal wrote:Honestly, the one idea that I would love as a figure, either fully accurate, or slightly G1-ified, is Samurai Prowl from Animated. The C.O.M.B.A.T. system would work extremely well to make it and I think it could work as a Deluxe+ Voyager. Plus, if they wanted, they could also repaint it into G1 Prowl's color scheme with maybe a red/orange sword instead of the blue for a Selects release
Sabrblade wrote:Alternately, Hasbro could cheapen out and just release Earthrise Prowl in black and gold and call it "Animated Universe Prowl".Razorbeast88 wrote:Sentinel_Primal wrote:Honestly, the one idea that I would love as a figure, either fully accurate, or slightly G1-ified, is Samurai Prowl from Animated. That'd be great
Which would still look nice, but wouldn't be Animated Prowl.
ZeroWolf wrote:RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:No need for theories, it is in black and white.
Hasbro always has an anterior motive
For example:
What Hasbro says: We want to create 1-step changers so kids can experience the speed of transformation, as it happens onscreen
What Hasbro really means: We want to get cash off parents by creating cheap and lazy toys.
My son really enjoyed those 1 steps funnily enough, he enjoyed having toys he could transform easy. Plus it was good enough for kids in the 80sI'm all about expanding transformers so that all age groups have something to enjoy.
RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:I wanted a laser prime so I stopped by the transformers section at Walmart. He wasn't there, but I have too many chances to get a galvatron. I checked all over online, laser prime was either out of stock or overpriced everywhere except sites like Hasbro pulse. Then I checked Ebay and there was a listing where I could save 10 dollars. I guess I'm blessed. Free 4 day delivery, comes a day or two before my birthday (next Sunday)

Congrats! I'm personally waiting for Black Convoy, but since I have a whole 'nother year to get Laser Prime, I may end up getting one.
What's more, the Headmaster gimmick allows one to recreate the piloted-mech play pattern of the original Diaclone toys.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Looks like Motormaster's gonna be coming into stock at the end of the month if you pre-ordered from Target in the US
Side note, my Twin Twist got here today (a day early and an hour early from when Amazon was saying). Gotta say, he's actually really neat. I know some dislike the Headmaster gimmick or the colors or the older mold, but personally I think he's a very solid figure

Emerje wrote:Man, still waiting for Gamestop to ship my Laser Prime. They charged me on July 1st because that was the "release date", but the status has only said "awaiting product availability" since then. So much for only charging when ready to ship.I've never pre-ordered with them before, I doubt I will again if they're going to be this behind literally everyone else.
