Just opened up Motormaster, have only transformed the cab for now, and played with the trailer a little.

First impression, bloody hell he's heavy! It's because the trailer is solid, everything that makes Menasor is in that trailer leaving next to no empty space. That alone makes his $$$ value worth it (more so than Rodimus Prime).

Cab is very simple to transform into robot mode, back into cab mode however is very fiddly getting the knee joints into the right positions. His right "arm pit" (for lack of a better description) took a bit of oomf to lock into place, but otherwise everything tabbed together nice.

SIDE NOTE: I'm liking how Legacy seems to be utilising tabs more so than previous lines.

Instructions are quite large, sadly, they're still poorly coloured making them hard to read for someone with poor eyesight like myself.

I quickly broke down the trailer section and did an inspection of the usual spots that have reported discoloration and it looks like I've gotten lucky. As this was a later release through Big W hopefully this means later batches won't be suffering discoloration as some of the early batches did.

Overall, from what I've seen so far he's a good solid figure. Really looking forward to completing Menasor now.

Eneraz and Sheeldron are namedropped in the description. It's just the Netflix Optimus Prime from 2020.

Makes sense, looks like entertainer bought some stock off hasbro cheeeap (Roadranger/puffer, retro rattrap) and is charging more than retail for most of them they probably got the netflix prime at same time (even if it was a semi smyths exclusive).

As I've said in other threads, There is more to Transformers nearing 40 franchise than just the first 3-5 years. The franchise would have ended long ago if that was the case.

To release figures under a branding of "Legacy" without being faithful to the context-specific part, is very disingenuous. If they released Animated Wreck-Gar in this line. Just as an extensive retool of Siege Ironhide, for example. Then that isn't Animated Wreck-Gar.

Alternately, Hasbro could cheapen out and just release Earthrise Prowl in black and gold and call it "Animated Universe Prowl".

Which would still look nice, but wouldn't be Animated Prowl.

I saw someone say this on Twitter using a different figure: BB Silverstreak as Prime Season 3 Smokescreen. They said all he would need are some stickers and Boom!

And I didn't like that idea. Prime Smokescreen has a very district design and some very unique across all transformers design cues to him exclusively. He needs a proper toy of his design. Plus, I loved him in the show and he comes with 2 automatic built in repaints: Season 2 and Season 3 colors, and BH/CoP Prowl if they needed to.

My son really enjoyed those 1 steps funnily enough, he enjoyed having toys he could transform easy. Plus it was good enough for kids in the 80s I'm all about expanding transformers so that all age groups have something to enjoy.

Plus, there are good quality one-steps that everyone can enjoy. Cyberverse Whirl and Repugnus come to mind there, those are 2 really fun toys for being the simple guys.

Legacy Wreck and Rule Twin Twist came yesterday. This is a nice contrast as I never got the TR version, only the TT Legends, all 3 versions of this mold I have use different weapons/accessories.

I wanted a laser prime so I stopped by the transformers section at Walmart. He wasn't there, but I have too many chances to get a galvatron. I checked all over online, laser prime was either out of stock or overpriced everywhere except sites like Hasbro pulse. Then I checked Ebay and there was a listing where I could save 10 dollars. I guess I'm blessed. Free 4 day delivery, comes a day or two before my birthday (next Sunday)

Congrats! I'm personally waiting for Black Convoy, but since I have a whole 'nother year to get Laser Prime, I may end up getting one.

I'd say if I enjoy it or not, but I just ordered it yesterday...

Looks like Motormaster's gonna be coming into stock at the end of the month if you pre-ordered from Target in the US

Side note, my Twin Twist got here today (a day early and an hour early from when Amazon was saying ). Gotta say, he's actually really neat. I know some dislike the Headmaster gimmick or the colors or the older mold, but personally I think he's a very solid figure

Agreed. I have the normal original retail TR Twintwist and he's a dynamite little Deluxe. Good use of the Headmaster gimmick, good articulation and a fun, twisty (ha!) transformation.

Man, still waiting for Gamestop to ship my Laser Prime. They charged me on July 1st because that was the "release date", but the status has only said "awaiting product availability" since then. So much for only charging when ready to ship. I've never pre-ordered with them before, I doubt I will again if they're going to be this behind literally everyone else.

Gamestop was one of the sites I said was "out of stock". So......

I got the Legacy Core Shockwave and I'm wondering if his hips are supposed to "click" into place in robot mode. As it is they shift out of place whenever I move his legs.
