Same. But given how the Prime universe figures have been working, I would think G1 Wheeljack ~ Legacy Prime Universe Wheeljack unfortunately.

It was. And the toy line was equally as good. Pulled off the cartoon aesthetic quite well.
Both of these are correct. It's one of my Top/favorite shows:
1) Animated
2) Prime
3) Cyberverse
4) Beast Wars
5) Botbots

Other have reported the same for Springer and Bulkhead, too.
Yep, seems those 3 are shipping out soon. I was tempted to jump on amazon from pulse to get rid of those preorders, but then I bought a lot from amazon with the leaders and voyagers lately, so I decided I can wait for now...

But that comparison is apples and oranges? Prime isn't G1. It was never implied/stated/presented as a continuation of G1. No show has been designed to look like Sunbow really.
As I've said in other threads, There is more to Transformers nearing 40 franchise than just the first 3-5 years. The franchise would have ended long ago if that was the case.
To release figures under a branding of "Legacy" without being faithful to the context-specific part, is very disingenuous. If they released Animated Wreck-Gar in this line. Just as an extensive retool of Siege Ironhide, for example. Then that
isn't Animated Wreck-Gar.
Well said comment here.

The C.O.M.B.A.T. system would work extremely well to make it and I think it could work as a Deluxe+ Voyager. Plus, if they wanted, they could also repaint it into G1 Prowl's color scheme with maybe a red/orange sword instead of the blue for a Selects release
I actually find this idea not bad. Samurai Prowl for me is the definitive multiversal Prowl.

That'd be great
Alternately, Hasbro could cheapen out and just release Earthrise Prowl in black and gold and call it "Animated Universe Prowl".
Which would still look nice, but wouldn't be Animated Prowl.
I saw someone say this on Twitter using a different figure: BB Silverstreak as Prime Season 3 Smokescreen. They said all he would need are some stickers and Boom!
And I didn't like that idea. Prime Smokescreen has a very district design and some very unique across all transformers design cues to him exclusively. He needs a proper toy of his design. Plus, I loved him in the show and he comes with 2 automatic built in repaints: Season 2 and Season 3 colors, and BH/CoP Prowl if they needed to.
ZeroWolf wrote:RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:No need for theories, it is in black and white.
Hasbro always has an anterior motive
For example:
What Hasbro says: We want to create 1-step changers so kids can experience the speed of transformation, as it happens onscreen
What Hasbro really means: We want to get cash off parents by creating cheap and lazy toys.
My son really enjoyed those 1 steps funnily enough, he enjoyed having toys he could transform easy. Plus it was good enough for kids in the 80s

I'm all about expanding transformers so that all age groups have something to enjoy.
Plus, there are good quality one-steps that everyone can enjoy. Cyberverse Whirl and Repugnus come to mind there, those are 2 really fun toys for being the simple guys.
