It used to be you can cheer allies once a day, ie 20 allies at 10 pts is 200 pts per day.
I had 85 allies but when I cheered, I only received 240 pts. Then I noticed, I could cheer back any allie who cheered me, AS MANY TIMES AS I WANTED.
So I cheered my allies, got 240 pts, waited about an hour, logged in, noticed people cheered me, I cheered back, got 180 pts, waited an hour repeated. At the end of the day, I had about 1500 pts for my 85 allies.
I hypothesized that you now only get pts if you can you cheer an allie but you can't cheer them again unless they cheer you.
I removed all friends that didn't seem to be playing except the 24 I noticed were cheering. Asked for friend requests of people in my level range that were still playing. Got my allies back up to about 60, started cheering everytime I logged in about every couple hours and was getting between 300-400 per. So daily, I've been getting anywhere around 3000 pts from allies.
Can anyone else try this and verify its working for them?
I think mobage purposely did this to give us more cards attempts. Wish we had more weapon card attempts.
monuo_ripts wrote:Oh, one thing to note, sometimes I cheer, then notice 5 minutes later that someone cheered me but when I try to cheer them again, it says I have done it today already. If i log out and log back in, I can now cheer that person. Again, I have been monitoring this specifically with optimuswayne. In 1 hour I racked up 200 pts cheering, logging out, logging in, and cheering him again because it notified me he was available for cheer. It seemed he cheered me every 2 minutes.
diseptikon wrote:Not that I'm an ardent fan of this game right now, but it's not that big of a deal how bp awards are determined. Either way you cut it, the game looks at your cards versus your opponents cards and does some sort of statistical analysis of your likelihood to win, then provides the amount of bp in relation to that percentage.
monuo_ripts wrote:Hey joesaysso,
My thought on why you see allies that can and can't be cheered when you press the notification is this, you can keep track of who isn't cheering you, and delete them so you can add someone who is playing, hopefully to accumulate more ally pts.
This thought is still based on me assuming they are going to an unlimited cheer-cheer back method so people can accumulate more pts and get more card attempts.
I'm keeping an spread sheet on my phone with all my ally names and how many times I've cheered them in a day. Out of 79 people, 44 are regular in cheering more than once a day, usually about 3 times. Optimuswayne and a couple others seem to cheer me within 10-20 minutes when I've got time to just sit and log out and log back in. The rest seem to only cheer once a day, sometimes a little longer.
My luck at the spacebridge seems to be 1 rarity 3 card every 60-80 cards. At my current point rate, I usually see a rarity 3 every 3 days, sometimes I see a common rarity 3 like mirage in there as well. By common rarity 3, I mean the rarity 3 cards you can obtain through missions as well as spacebridge.
I guess what you might do is start a spreadsheet of all your allies, then keep track over a week how many people you can cheer. In a week, if you have people you can't cheer, I'm assuming they've quit playing. Delete them and add new friends.

I missed the first one.
Another thing, Im level 90 and had at least 5 spins on the premium space bridge and not only haven't i seen a 4 card but i haven't gotten one optimus or ultra magnus
diseptikon wrote:Silly question, how do you log out?
joesaysso wrote:Well, I guess you can't add allies by name anymore. I have begun the process of removing "fallen" allies and aligning myself with newer, still functioning ones. I am hoping to be able to report a big gain in ally points onver the coming days.

joesaysso wrote:A step in the wrong direction if you ask me. If they "fixed" the ally points system to make it in line with the way it was then you potentially lose points. As myself and Monuo_ripts have been discussing, 1000 points a day or more is achieveable with the ally points left alone. If they changed it back to the way it was, well thats no good.
joesaysso wrote:Indeed, the battles and reward points seem to be set in the 22-24 point range for me. If I change the cards in my hand, the game matches me up against lower level players to fall into the 22-24 point range still. So how is that a step in the right direction? The only way I was able to accrue enough battle points to make any progress on a weapons card would be to battle people who gave me 40-70 point rewards. Even then it would take 3 weeks to save up 5000BP to cash in 10 weapons cards, which would give me about a 15% xp increase on the card I'm attempting to level. That should only take me about 6 months to max level one weapon cards. Unless they changed the scale of weapon card leveling, this change is stupid and bad for the game.
You've been exploiting the ally system and regardless if it gives you less points now, an exploit is an exploit and will eventually be patched.
