Weapon: Dual Bladed Sword
Anyone know about the shields? Are they just really hi DEF and maybe health but low ATK?

Also, it looks like they may get on a schedule to start all events on friday and end on thursday with the day clock.

Last night I played for 6 hours straight right from the start and got just over 200K pts. I was rank 7. Retired for bed and woke up at 210, worked back to 136 and realized I have no chance for top 100 unless I get the 5X card to take care of tougher bosses later. Top 1000 is my goal but I'm going to push for 100 anyway just to see if I can stay up.

Dont do it unless you absolutely HAVE to have Omega Supreme.

This is the way I figure it. I really want Omega Supreme. He's only being given to the top 100 in both modes. He's useless in the 250 version which is only the robot version.

Unless this is the mission in which you're ready to truly go for it and get rid of the impressive stock you have and go all out for top 100... dont do it. I'm just planning on sticking to the strategy and stockpiling cubes and go for the full Jetfire.

I HATE the prize structure again. Giving us half a set is painfully frustrating. I also cant believe they started this mission so early. I was hoping Devastator would be a possible x3/x5 card or a version of Megatron we have not seen yet. To me they make a lot more sense than the way they have gone.

The added bonus of 100 bonus cubes makes the 30$ deal more enticing... and IF you do decide to go for it please let me know how it works out. If you make the top 100 you've hit your goal... but you have basically spent 30 dollars for Omega Supreme. You dont get a free 50$ space bridge or anything else besides the Omega Supreme. I love me some Omega Supreme... but not 30$ worth on my phone game kind of love, especially since I am still debating my future on this game.

I encountered a free battle today with someone who had 3 transcanned 5X Cyclonus. 3. Last night, as I played, every free battle person that I encountered had a deck full of episode reward cards from the different episodes the passed several weeks.

I have now arrived at this point: the sheer number of episodes and the way they distribute rewards have completely watered down the entire game. The super rare episode cards are the strongest cards in the game and they aren't really that rare at all. The original rank 4 cards have been completely reduced to meaningless and yet they are actually still super rare. This game is completely backwards.

With the massive amount of reward cards out there, everybody's deck will look essentially the same. Soon, the only competitive advantage anybody will hold will be if you are willing to spend more money than the next guy.

The TF:L development team, Mobage, and maybe even Hasbro have gone out of their way to make this game pay to play. They clearly do not want me to play this game and at this point, I'm ready to oblige them. They had a potentially good game on their hands and they screwed it up.

I'm curious as to how new people playing can even participate in these episodes when they don't even allow stockpiling of cubes on the lowest boss. People with deckpower too low to defeat the low boss with one cube are pretty boned I guess.

Oh well. I haven't played Angry Birds in a couple of years. I wonder what those guys are up to.

Well I spent money this time because I liked the look of the cards.

I have a deck which can take out a Level 2 Jetfire. I can MVP Level 3's and 4's all with one cube.

Yet I struggle to stay in the top 1000. Why? Simple. Lack of time.

I can sit for hours and play, which I did yesterday, and I managed to crawl into the top 1000. During the time I was asleep I dropped a thousand places. I clawed it back but I haven't had the time today to keep playing, and tomorrow it's back to work.

So even though it's obvious this is moving towards pay-to-play, you also must be willing to give up your life.

Or share your account with someone. Which is what people are no doubt doing.

I think the idea mobage is trying to get across to new players when they join is "spend just $40 and you will win a ton of stuff your very first episode". Then after that, they dont care if people quit, they got your money.

This appears like its going to burn out quickly. The episodes are one after the other with no break in sight.

There is absolutely no depth to this game. The pvp is useless and pointless. At this point there isnt a lot you could do with that. The missions were weak and a toss together and they dont appear to be planning on doing anything with upgrading them. There is also no indication of trading.

Add on the fact that during these episodes im watching them tweak the events against the guy who is willing to spend literally a few bucks and only to the people willing to shell out 30-50$ per week while totally losing all of your free time to it.

Im wondering where this game is going to be in two months. Im seeing no interest in trying to actually improve the game. If it didnt say transformers I would have been gone a long time ago.

So I'm not the only one playing going WTF at the back to back to back events?

I don't play nearly enough to try for a Jetfire. I want one, yes, but not sure I want to sink more money into this or spend the next four days devoted to this entirely when I could be playing something like Mass Effect 3 or Borderlands 2 or War For Cybertron and actually feeling like I'm accomplishing something. Hell, my MMOs like Star Wars TOR and DDO are givin me more than this right now. I'm HOPING I can maintain for a full Sky Lynx. I could care less about Cosmos. I won't even keep Cosmos for my squads to be honest.

Anyone else not seeing a lot of Co-op bonuses?

Even if I knock 40% off a level 5 Jetfire, one person is sweeping in and knocking off the remaining 60%.

And holy **** the sniping is ridiculous. I see requests for help with over 80% remaining but by the time I can join they're already gone, and it's less than 10 seconds!

I have noticed the sniping is quick. What else i have noticed is that if i stay idle for any amount of time that the game is basically freezing. the game clock freezes and any action by me will lead to an automatic reboot. Im finding it impossible to sit around and snipe.

The servers seem to be having huge delays. Im getting the same disappearing help requests, some disappear just as soon as they show up. I successfully snipe about 1 in 20 so that strategy is gone.

So far, ive spent nothing but the medals did give me an alt of scourge. They probably want me to buy the other half and the shield now. Im trying very hard to not spend a single dollar anymore. Its just so easy to say "its just a buck" but ive let that happen too much over all the events so this time, no money, gotta stick to my guns.

WAIT, BRILLIANCE JUST STRUCK ME! IM GOING TO ROB SOMEONE JUST TO PLAY!

I don't know if it's sniping or that the game is just updating the battles THAT SLOWLY.

EDIT: Apparently I just have some very POWERFUL people on my friends list, cause wow.

EDIT 2: Having to confirm that yes I want to use a cube so I can get a cube is costing me seconds that I end up losing the last hit on the battle as well.

I think you may be onto something. I think they may be intentionally updating slowly to foul up sniping. That way you run out of cubes faster if your trigger happy, or you lose ranks if too cautios. Either way, your either buying cubes or 5x cards to keep getting pts or snipe the higher hp bosses.

Aye, I have seen this all the time.

I have a question in terms of deck building for all of you. Is it better to build a single 4, or a 3 that can be trans-scanned? I'm really dying to get one of the JetFire cards (I know.. I know...).

What would be the best way to build my deck power up to a level where I can use one cube to do at least 6-7M of damage?

Did anyone else notice that when you reach 100k pts, the rewards drop from 3 cubes to 2 cubes. Also, omega doesn't even give energy as a reward anymore, just 1 cube for finisher, all else cards.

They are really going to rape people into buying energy, cubes, and bonus cards if they want to win anything decent in events.

Remember that the 1 energy, 1 cube reward structure started on the bosses halfway through robots in the skies wasn't it. I see the rewards for omega being the norm for the next couple events since everyone has been stockpiling them. Then I see them getting to the point where the only rewards are cards and maybe the transmetals and stuff for leveling. They will get to the point where you have to live off buying recharges or waiting for them.

The cube rewards were the same last episode too. I remember this specifically. The third boss not giving energon as a reward, I can't confirm if thats a change from last episode or not, being that I didn't play that episode long enough to battle any Hun-gurrrs.

That cube switch is a direct opposite of what it used to be. I don't know if thats a big deal though. No you get more cubes earlier on and its up to you to save them.

The third boss not dropping energon; I find that insignificant. By the time you get to the third boss, infinicubing is done with and your not using that much energon anyway.

I think they need to find a way to get those original R4 cards distributed so people can complete their cyberdex. They need to make just one new card as the top prize per episode and start giving away the regular R4 cards as prizes. They also need to make a tier of R5 cards now to reduce the power of all these episode R4 cards that they are giving away like candy.

I was reading the thread at tfw2005 and there is a guy that knows how to pick apart the code and the first r5 card has been programmed in already. Its ironhide and the post also listed i think 5 other r4 cards, enough for the next event, imagine that. They didnt know if these go to the next event but theyve been right on all the previous events.

They were also discussing the trainer cheat but no one has tried it. First off, the "gamer" IDs are android users that log in with facebook and sont rename their accounts. The "spark" users are iOS. If you use a mobage log in, you are all server based. If you use a gamer or spark account, all your stuff is on you phone and periodically syncs to the server. The bad news is if you are client side saving, and you erase the game, you lose your stuff, apparently though if you're client sided, you can get away with using the trainer to give yourself infinite mobacoins, cubes, and energy.

No one over there has tried it, they dont recommend it because it will most likely lead to a ban, but the information about the accounts comes from mobage and the trainer info from users on youtube claiming it works.

Take it for what it is since im probably like the fourth party passing along the info. I cant verify it obviously but others over there are raging if the trainer is real and mobage isnt doing anything about it.

What Powerlevel are your decks guys? I just started maybe 1.5 weeks ago in the middle of the terrorcon episode and now my deck is at 5700. I find it pretty hard to get anywhere. Can't even one cube a LVL5 cosmos. =X

any strats fro a new comer?

all maxed out level wise is Starscream, shockwave, Cyclonus as main members.

then bumblebee, Prowl, Megatron, Thundercracker, Mirage, and Razorclaw.
All level threes besides razorclaw. and all have been transcaned.

I notice that theres a Decipticon bonus so I'm thinking of switching out some autobots once I have more cards. (I haven't spent money yet and would perfer not to esp with all that I've read on this thread)

If you are solely using cards earned from the campaign stack your deck with as many mtm thundercracker as you can. He is the best campaign card you can get for rank 3.

Honestly don't think this game is worth spending any or much money on it. Just MHO.

I was stupid and bought Scourge and Cyclonus, and even bought some battle cubes. I ended up wasting at least $30 dollars. I will never do that again with this game. They remove the "cheap" battle cubes after a while and cubes start getting expensive at 40 for $10.

Even with Scourge and Cyclonus, and blowing through over 100 energon recharge items and many battle cubes, I am still rank 1400 and losing rank. I can't imagine what the top players spent. Perhaps $100 or more?

This game has become a money pit. I may be able to stay above 2500 just by playing (not spending any more,) but my Jetfire will be likely to be useless since he won't be trans-scanned.

I was extremely stupid one time, and spent real money. That won't happen again and I agree with earlier people who posted that they are destroying the game because they want to try to make a quick buck.
