At least we eventually got them, so I am happy. I think the only main dino type we didnt get was a land based long necked dino.

Happy either way. Rhinox is my favourite Maximal.
When it comes to Tarantulas and Tigatron I am curious how far they will go with show accurate Beast Modes. Ordinarily the two spiders would be minor retools, but proportionally they are very different. Especially as Tarantulas should be bigger in both modes regardless. Tigatron should share some engineering from Cheetor, at least on a cosmetic level, in Bot Mode. Whereas the build of a Tiger is bulkier than a Cheetah, so it will be interesting to see how they hide that extra mass and leave them looking superficially similar in Bot Mode.
Back on topic, how long until we see this guy? The Megatron mold is too expensive for them to only use once after all....

He's good. He is very good. Possibly the easiest Masterpiece I have transformed, of the six I own. Happy/relieved to report No breakages, no stress marks or loose joints.
Now he is in Bot Mode, I am never transforming him again.
Why? Because of a particular joint, the torso joint, that almost gave a heart attack. When you transform him, you'll know why. The arm and leg transformations I worked out myself. The Backpack was a little fiddly and the instructions aren't overly clear, but I did manage it in the end, using a bit of commonsense.
It is quite amazing how after the really iffy initial panels you have to separate in the Beast Mode, how straight forward he is. Almost as if, after the panel-wizardry of Dinobot, his simplicity seems detrimental somehow?
He is stunning, I can't stop looking at him beside me as I type. Yet has he knocked MP Optimus Primal off my top spot? No, is the answer.
Simply put, I can't choose between them. In my eyes, in terms of what they represent, they are as good as it gets.
I will concur with what has been said elsewhere though. The Beast Mode panels, specifically those that end up forming the backpack, definitely feel like a complete different and lesser plastic. Caution is advised, although someone as heavy handed as me had no issues, your mileage may vary. 9.5/10

Hey, mine too! But I will see him tomorrow, especially as I did the little approval thing for porch drop off.
Emerje wrote:Mine hit a couple snags shipping through AmiAmi. I paid for mine Friday night, but they didn't ship it until Tuesday. Then it got returned to them because they underestimated the weight for Air Small Packet (I wondered about that) so now they've upgraded it to DHL at their cost. It's scheduled to arrive Monday which is probably about when it would have arrived before.

We might need to revise our policy to post news about breakage issues until more information is available in the future, or at least when English speaking fans get a figure in-hand so we can get a better understanding of what's happening. No offense to the news staff, our all-volunteer team from around the world does an absolutely stellar job. Just think we might have jumped the gun on this one with limited information. It's sometimes challenging to know when we should do a "buyers beware" news story initially or if we need to have patience until more information comes forth.

I did see stress marks around the pins though, but I do not think they will get worse if I pay attention.

Also anyone else a little miffed he didn’t come with a stand.... sure the instructions seem to mention “as sold separately”. But I feel there was enough promo shots of him with it.... they chickened out.
Why else would the stands be connectable if they only make one....
SpikeyTigertron wrote:On a side note- really wish they explained how the waist/chest slides/collapses..... that part gave me a damn heart attack. And I even took him apart to try and figure the mechanism out... it’s well hidden.
