I think the arms are the one thing I'll never be satisfied with on this figure. In addition to them as a whole being thin, I find the forearms horrendous. Like, everything about them feels wrong - the general shape, the misplaced flame panels, the inexcusable lack of red, etc. And then there are the shoulder pads. I mean, they didn't even try here. This was something rather simple that could've been easily improved over the ROTF mold, and instead it's left exactly the same - just two square panels.
It's not a dealbreaker for me, necessarily, but I certainly don't like it.
It wasn't thaaaaaat bad. Surprisingly detailed, sureBumblebee21 wrote:i loved the leaders transformtatiom. the rotf is annoying
Queue Snake from The Simpsons..Carnivius_Prime wrote:Think that Premium (remember when that meant something rather than just a box and silly price hike?) was my first japanese imported Transformer. I had liked the original 2007 version so much I got the premium Prime, Bee and Jazz too. And then a year later RotF Prime came out and won me over with it's far greater movie accuracy but yeah that 2007 mold is still a fun toy. I see it retroactively as more a hybrid figure of sorts of movie & classics. Hasbro hadn't quite mastered how to turn that movie Prime into an screen-accurate toy being that the movie designs were still very new at that point.
I feel like we've had this conversation...D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Ah the movie 1 leader. I love that mold to death. It is a great looking prime with an actual fun transformation and some heft! I have the Nightwatch version and it is one of those that I can never sell. the lights and sounds still work too! Wish I found the premium one, I really wanted that version with the sword.
