Of course if they are available for wide release, I'd probably still have to pass on Repugnus. No point getting him given how Grotusque was unavailable to me.
I should go back to bed.
That's what annoys me too. I know the chances of getting Grotusque for a non-insane price are pretty low, and you can't just have one Monsterbot.
THAT SAID if I see Doomgerbil Grotusque at TFNation for a not-ridiculous price I'll scoop him up.

I highly doubt that since the generations line started in 2010 and had no leader class until 1 toy in thrilling 30 (2014). Plus, titans return added more product than ever with the additional titan master class which POTP kept. There was far less product before that.
o.supreme wrote:Yes the first couple generations lines didn't have as much, everything from T30 on had more. The only point I'm trying to make is, obviously with less time (12 months) we are going to get less product than in 18 months.
Nathaniel Prime wrote:I think I see a combiner port under Counterpunch's faux chest, but I'm not sure. Both look great but I am really digging Repungus' bot mode. Insect(?) mode looks a little derpy, but my biggest gripe is his swords. Why are there Titan Master seats in them? Other than that, everything looks great to me, even if Punch/Counterpunch can't combine
Wolfman Jake wrote:So, how does everyone feel about the Monsterbots shopping at the same pants and shoes stores? In a way, it's nice that they all feel like a unified group with similar, yet still distinguishable (from the waist up, at least) robot mode structures and the same new play gimmick with Titan Master compatibility and head utilization, replacing the G1 "cold-sparks" gimmick. Was this Hasbro's genius pre-engineering at work the whole time or lazy/cost-cutting R&D?
Wolfman Jake wrote:I wonder how Japanese fans are feeling right now. Takara only gave them Doublecross so far. They're behind two now, and with the Legends line in limbo, and the "brand unification" taking over their "Classics/G1" distribution plan, how are they ever going to get these Hasbro exclusives? Maybe they could be crammed into Takara's Power of the Primes like Nemesis Prime and Wreck Gar, but they'd be the odd figures out, not fitting the "play pattern" of the rest of the current series being Titan/Head Master throwbacks.
