If you really want it, don't let spite get in the way of saving you some money and getting your figure sooner. Hasbro Toy Shop is not going to be stuck with unsold Thrones out of fan protest. If you don't buy it, someone else will, until they are gone.
Getting it earlier, sure.
Getting it cheaper, no.
Sure, 10$ cheaper on Amazon japan is not the biggest discount, but thats still the price of deluxe figure for me, so every bit counts.
Ha I had it in my cart in HTS but couldn't stomach the $85 charge. Decided to PO it from Amazon JP to save $10. May still cancel it as I have no real desire for the figure.
I feel like Nemmy's combined bot mode is an overall tighter, more congruent, less awkward package. NemPax has a wicked head sculpt.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Wow, most seem in favor of Rodimus, eh? Any merits to Nemmy aside from the weapons and the whole Nemesis Prime appeal?

Nah, you guys aren't thinking RED enough.carytheone wrote:I feel like Nemmy's combined bot mode is an overall tighter, more congruent, less awkward package. Yeah, same here. Every few days, I pop in to a few as I drive by on my way home from work. No luck. Some of them still have Titans Return figures on the pegs, like Chromedome and Highbrow.
Ha, I've seen a few TR figures as well - like TwinfernoWolfman Jake wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:...um, back on topic, I checked Walgreens yesterday, still no Wreck-Gar.

Oh, I wish that were the case here, I'd buy some early TR figures I missed, but instead, all this Walgreens has is a single leftover Cloudraker-Wingspan pack, two One-Step Changers that aren't even from the same line as each other, and some blind bagged Kreons. Sad.

And it's not like you can rely on their website to check in store stock. Last time I checked there are 2-5 WGs at every store.
Has he even been spotted yet?
mordhelm wrote:So if you are showing 2-5 then it jumps to 4-7 or 6-9, give it a shot. Pretty much identical to the way I found the Terrorcons at Walmart using Brickseek. Also, that is how I got Brainstorm and the Clone 2-Pack from Walgreens if I recall correctly.
o.supreme wrote:Nope no sightings yet, also BBTS has plenty of early TR figures, many of them cheaper than what you'd pay at Walgreens,
Me neither. I got the last two with ease and a discount even on the clones. Once BS hit he was clogging shelves and even hit clearance on their website.o.supreme wrote:mordhelm wrote:So if you are showing 2-5 then it jumps to 4-7 or 6-9, give it a shot. I haven't had any problems with WG, because unlike regular Hasbro toys that start showing up on the East Coast first, WG exclusives usually shows up on the West Coast First. Usually within a couple days of first sighting, I found Brainstorm and the Clones 2 pack in with several eat each store.
