I know that this is probably unlikely given that the Triple-Changing Voyagers were mostly in TR, but I'd like to see a Voyager Doubledealer and I don't mean a repaint of TR Blitzwing. And maybe some retools into Stalker and Machine Wars Soundwave? Wishful thinking of something that probably won't happen

Hasbro will probably never do a G2 Megatron, it seems like Hasbro is doing G2 Prime and Takara is doing G2 Megatron
Not the G2 Megatron people are talking about, Takara's is purple:
It doesnt go with Lazer Prime.
What do you mean? Purple G2 Megatron goes with whomever he wants!!

With the powermaster gimmick in this line, I am hoping we get an updated doubledealer. One way they could get both the missile truck mode and the eagle mode is to possible have it work like the rumored legends battletrap, with two figures, each with one of the alt-modes, combining to form doubledealer

So glad someone agrees with me. (I just said this at the top of the page) I was actually hoping for a Voyager Triple Changer but your idea is more likely given what we're getting.

Which ones? The Orion Pax/Optimus Prime, Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime leaders? The 6 Dinobots that combine? The Combiner Wars Jazz? The first ever Moonracer figure that isn't a misnamed repaint of the Energon Arcee clones? The Japanese repaint of a Titan Master that's a reference to the greatest character study to come out of the Beast Era (in my opinion anyway), Savage/Noble?
Where is the garbage, exactly?

Re: Transformers Power of the Primes Leaks, Rumours, Reveals, and More
One thing which has been...not so much bothering me as merely bugging me is this: what will the color scheme for the Optimus Primal/Optimal Optimus be? For the 'Leader Evolution' line figures we have seen colored so far, the two form have identical color palettes. However, Optimus Primal has major difference in main color of both forms. The fact we've only see an unpainted prototype has led me to two theories:
1) Optimus Primal's 'space turd log' mode will have some random bits of orange on him or...
2) Optimal Optimus/the gorilla 'trailer' will be recolored to match the smaller form.
Now initially my thought was "goddamn it Hasbro" in a moment of kneejerk nostalgia for my childhood, as one generally tend to expect in this fanbase. However, after looking back at pictures of the unpainted prototype and dusting off my old Optimal Optimus figure it occured to me that...this could honestly work in a regular Optimus Primal color scheme without sacrificing most of the color placement.
You see, the only major color difference between these two Primal forms is that Optimal Optimus has this obonoxious orange coloring. Mind you, I like it out of nostalgia, but I have to admit in hindsight that it is a bit of an odd choice even if it has the added bonus of making this form of a main Optimus who is radically different and distinct. However, outside of this orange color, these two forms are noticeable very similar in their palette, give or take hue, which I know for sure will not be replicated 1 for 1 due to different plastic as well as a lack of 'metallic vacuum' which, granted, I would absolutely love to see return even if I'm aware it tend to flake and be a bitch in the long run. In any case, both share a useage of red, blue and grey/white, the only major difference is that Primal is primarily a greyish-black and Optimal is, again, neon orange. Replace his neon orange with a matching dark grey of Primal, and the red and blue to match that respective hue and you end up with a pretty damn cool looking mechanical monkey.
This fact, combined with its gimmicks also referencing his initial Transmetal (surfing monkey, anyone?) lead me to believe this new incarnation of Optimus Primal is very much inspired by a complete amalgamation of ALL his forms. Hell, even the space turd log make some bit of sense if you accept the idea he had a vehicular altmode before scanning a gorilla.

We already have a general idea of what colors the base Optimus Primal is going to use in robot mode, since art has been revealed not too long ago:

With that, we can potentially expect the vehicle to follow suit, with accents in the same general colors as the gorilla "trailer". Rather cleverly, most of the vehicle is obscured by the "trailer" when combined, only the cockpit is plainly visible so it may share the deco scheme in the very least:

Other than that, the two parts can get away with looking distinct by using the same colors overall, but in different areas and by "switching function" between main colors and accents.

Re: Transformers Power of the Primes Leaks, Rumours, Reveals, and More
Now that is one area I will give the designers credit. Deluxe Primal looks like he forms the chest guns of Optimal, and those parts are black. So you have a black figure that forms the black rectangle guns of the larger orange figure. So both figures can have their proper colour schemes and it will still work out for both.

Maybe his combined chest piece is still orange, however. By the way do we know if he can be...smushed...into the 'flight mode'? Given he still has the core elements, even down to the wings on his shoulders and back of the legs and given that mode was more like a deformed gorilla trying to do a superman pose. He lacks wheels so I guess the land vehicle mode is out but it seems like the plane could still be fitted in if they wanted to.
Another edit: I doubt it will happen, especially with Botcon dead, but I'd love to see that figure redeco-ed into Primal Prime with the Optimus Primal figure as Ape-Linq.

Yeah, personally I still think Primal will have a bright orange backpack. Though the point about the transmetal's blue and grey/brown scheme is a very good point, I hadn't even considered that...
Regarding flight mode, I think you'll be able to make something work, but it's success will depend on if the wings can be hinged to stick out from the body or not. Maybe you'll end up with something in between the two vehicle modes?
Insurget you're pretty much right in that Primal forms the chest area of Optimal, but I'm pretty sure the guns themselves are the same pieces that Primal uses as swords, hence them looking pretty... un-sword-like.
Man, the more I look at and talk about this figure, the more I kind of want it. I've still not even got round to watching BW, but this design is a right laugh and the play pattern of the figure does look pretty fun! I think it'll depend on what he seems like in-hand: Optimal's robot and gorilla modes are very similar, and Primal does turn into a plank, so you kinda risk having two nice figures with totally lacklustre transformations.

It's almost guaranteed it'll be orange, well, orange-yellow to match the "trailer". You may be able to finagle him into a flight mode, but it still wouldn't be considered official. Would be possible to design, but wouldn't be high priority given its role. In fact, Optimus Primal is the only Leader Class figure to have a "trailer" with standalone functionality, compared to Optimus and Rodimus Prime's from what we know.

It all depends on who own the character, really. Flamewar made the jump from BotCon to regular retail in Prime, so anything's possible.

With New York Comic-Con happening next week, what does everyone think we'll see at Hasbro's panel? I'm guessing we'll see finished versions of Moonracer, Hun-Gurrr and Rippersnapper, along with anything from wave 1 that wasn't shown at Hascon, so Prime Master Vector Prime/Metalhawk and Legends Windcharger. I do hope they show Elita-1, Optimus Primal in colour, and the second waves of Prime Masters and Legends too, but it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't.

This would be an awesome idea, and I would buy it
Right up there with Combiner Wars Nexus Maximus with the things we want but will never get due to the end of Botcon and the FunPub Club.
Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh, I really wanted a Nexus as an actual combiner. So yeah, we can still dream though!!!
I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please!
