He's a perfect character to allow for characters from multiple timelines and realities to get together -- throw in Prime Master Metalhawk and bending space/time should be easy! Or confusing.

Ok, quick question for the people who own Starscream: is there a sculpted number on the inside of his Enigma and if yes, what is that number? Grimlock's has what I think is the number "1" inside his.

Don't have Prime, but Rod's Matrix core is molded diferently than the enigmas. It os hollow, but has structural cross braces to extend the peg farther out. There is no stamped number inside.

I saw Rodimus Unicronus on eBay the other day from Kansas. I think it sold for $80+, but it was almost like seeing a unicrorn in the wild....

Ah, overthinking things again. I was theorizing that the number refers to the mold used for the Matrix Core/Enigma, since they, along with the Prime Armor, seem to be cast independently from the figure itself. Like Grimlock is Type "1", Starscream is Type "2", that sorta thing. That's not the case, obviously, but you never know.

Pretty good, actually. Dreadwind and Blackwing have shown the amount of retooling Hasbro and TakaraTomy are willing to give an older CW mold, not mention Inferno is just a release of an unused head (with redecos of Hun-Gurrr's Enigma and Foot Armor). So Sideswipe out of Breakdown/Sunstreaker could tentatively happen, though it would have to be later in the line.

As good as any other bot for now.

After having him for a couple of days, I think PotP Rodimus is pretty good, both in leader mode and Hot Rod mode. I actually like the smaller bot better, and that's how I have him displayed right now, with the rest of my Hot Rod/Rodimus figures. The trailer went back in the box, and even though it's pretty articulate, it's just too big to fit in with my display. I may even consider selling it, if anyone out there wants it for customization or something like that. I gave the big gun to MP-28, and gave PotP Hot Rod G1 Firebolt. Both perfect fits.

Just a tip according your pics : The small bot knees can tab inside what become the shoulders. It looks like you didn't force enough. Once done the shoulders are at a 90° angle.

The one thing, the only thing, these PotP "dinobots" (Swoop is cool tho) are good for:







Hasbro must love me. I've now bought 4 each of the available dinobots. One for each boy, plus a backup for each. These figures a cheaply made, so breakage is guaranteed.

Hey Lunatic Prime -- I know I can wait for Rodimus Unicronus, but yeah, eBay is swamped with PotP Roddy & Op at scalper prices. That's Capitalism, baby!

If I'm going to eBay, it's not for current releases (I'm fortunate to have a fair amount of B&Ms)....but I might for missed waves. If I somehow miss out on Moonracer, I'd definitely hunt her down.

I'll wait until I see pictures of Novastar and then I'll decide which one I'll get. And most of the PotP figures I ordered from Amazon.com because most of them are way cheaper there than from Amazon or any other store in my country.

Never said they were worse. Hasbro has been making cheapfigures for years.


And yes, each son has thier own set, plus a back up set in closet storage. They love dinosaur transformers, so they play with them, thus they will break, thus the back ups.


My kids make me miss the days of unicorn trilogy toys. Those are the only transformers I've given my kids that don't break under basic play. Well, rescue bots are pretty hardy, too.
