I was unsuccessful today in my hunt, though the symths near me did have two Dinobots and both wave 1 voyagers, that was it. I may of nabbed grimlock but it was on a higher shelf than I could reach and I was a bit short on money so I unfortunately had to pass. Did we solve why swoops box shows red chest while the toy itself is blue?

Predaking as a Titan Class toy will be released as a box set in all markets. But I wonder how difficult it would be....to create a customized mock UW box for Volcanicus & Abominus?? I know that 3rd party accessories are very popular, 3rd party packaging would be something appealing to me in this case.

Apparently the story goes that Hasbro tried play testing both decos, with the kids liking the blue more. Which is good, since the red is toy-accurate while the head is based on the cartoon. Furthermore, the alternate head of Swoop is the toy-accurate design with the visor, as shown by Pete's Robocon Custom SG Swoop:

Release that in red and we're golden.

Better get him fast if you're getting Dinobots, he's not set for repacking AFAWK, only Slug/Slag is.

I do wish we get that red Swoop/Strafe with that visor head, I need an extra Hand Armor :lol:

One of mine has a thumb with a raised marred area from the sprue, so it's scraping plastic off the hand whenever I want to move it.

Would like to see Submarauder too, but unsure where Alchemist Prime fits in my head-canon....unlike Liege Maximo.

A few random thoughts and photos of PotP so far.

I was really hoping that Dreadwind and Blackwing could form a great mutant double forearm, double elbow combiner limb, but really it is just a mess. I'll have to try again with Dreadwind collapsed and see if that is any better.

For anyone with either Rodimus, what do you think of the space winnebago alt mode? I personally love it, even with the visible hands from the front. But I do have to say, the side profile always makes me think this is what the child of a garbage truck and an El Camino would look like. I think that makes me like it even more.

The RV mode wasn't as bad in-hand as I thought it would be. And yes, I do think it looks like a garbage truck with the way the back end looks. :lol:

I decided that the evolved mode is the weakest mode for Rodimus in either form, so I will be displaying the base figure only, with the trailer going back into the box. I'm considering doing this with Optimus as well, so I can have a decent Orion Pax on the shelf. I might even consider selling the trailers by themselves, maybe someone out there can use them for customizing.

Hah, I should've clarified -- none in Oregon in the last two weeks, besides the few days they were at my Walmart. I wanna see them readily available in Target in OR.

In response to your query Kev, I love the space Winnebago myself, only have Roddy U., so it's more the Winnebago of doom, but it is fun! Never really thought trash collector till you said something though.
Though his Hot Rod mode is nice, personally I am loving the super beefy Prime mode. Funny enough, I hadn't stood him next to his brother from another universe until just now. He towers over TR Galvatron, so once I get the proper Autobot version I already know just how huge he'll be with Galvy. Thankfully scale with the toys isn't something I fret over, as long as I have fun I'm happy with them.

I forgot to mention this the last time but the original inspiration of getting Rodimus in that pose was a post a few weeks ago complaining about his poor poseability. So suck on it, whoever said that. I think it was WJ88.

While I'm more than glad my local TRU had a full wall of PotP stuff (and two Chaos on Velocitron boxes from TR, no less!), it was mostly full walls of Voyagers. So judging by how well that went last time with shelf-warming Galvatrons, these Grimlock and Starscreams will be there for a damn long time.

Possibly these Leader Class figures too.
