And now I can't unsee it! Nor do I want to.

Oooh yeah! Whatcha gonna do when the Rodimus man comes for you!
Somewhere, in a dark cavernous chamber, vince mcmanhon reads this comment and gets a brainwave. He calm you calls his secretary and asks them to get a hold of hasbro. When asked why his response is "for the crossover of icons"
Interestingly, while SG Rodimus's goatee was based on that of Mirror Universe Spock, his personality was based on John Travolta's character Vinnie Barbarino from Welcome Back, Kotter, albeit evil.Acesmcgee wrote:Lore Keeper wrote:Acesmcgee wrote:I never really learned much about shattered glass, I know that R. Unicronus is an unofficial homage to that series, but...is that Rodimus an homage to macho man Randy savage, or is his appearance and similarity to that wrestler coincidence?
His goatee is a reference to the evil mirror version of Mr Spock from the original Star Trek series. Spock was second in command and Rodimus was second in command, so it became a fun reference.
Ok, I can see that, but with his headcrest design looking slightly bandana-ish to me, I still see macho man in this toy more than evil Spock. But, that is a cool reference all the same, thanks!

Gotta admit I'd love to see Transformers Wrestlers. Not sure how that would work but clearly it would make human wrestling look like a joke.

Skrapnel was released waaaay back (Part of T30) with a target master Refector. Chop Shop was then a re-head and redeco minus Reflector.
The current Skrapnel, I believe is just a deco tweek of the original release.
And minus Reflector.Acesmcgee wrote:ThunderThruster wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Back to potp: is skrapnel just a redco of chop shop? Just I recently got kickback so I want to get his buddies.

Yep, his colors are slightly different from his original release.

Hasbro did plan a full-sized Legends Reflector for Combiner Wars, but for some reason decided not to release it, and so instead gave the tooling for it to Fun Pub, who released it at BotCon 2016.Acesmcgee wrote:I always hoped they would do like Chopshop (who came with that Gen. There was no official camera mode. The Shockwave mold turned into a gun. The camera mode made by three Reflectors was a fanmode thought up on the side of the official configurations, and Fun Pub encouraged people to try to make their own takes on a camera mode rather than be restricted to just theirs.TF-fan kev777 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Hasbro did plan a full-sized Legends Reflector for Combiner Wars, but for some reason decided not to release it, and so instead gave the tooling for it to Fun Pub, who released it at BotCon 2016.Acesmcgee wrote:I always hoped they would do like Chopshop (who came with that Gen. I'm pretty sure that "some reason" was because the "camera" mode was really weak. REALLY weak.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Deposits are no longer available on Power Of The Primes items due to the large number of non paying customers we are currently experiencing.
I really like the shape he makes as an arm. I'm having a problem keeping the legs tabbed together as a forearm. I got it to stay then it popped open at the top and gave up on figuring it out. It was getting late after opening all 5 Deluxes and I wanted to snap some shots and go to bed.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Hey Cobs, how is Snarl as an arm? Or rather, which make better legs and which better arms... except for Swoop, he's pure arm material.
