I dunno man, tiny combiners would be funny. Especially if they ever make a Micromasters-inspired line.

More Power of the Primes have reached Ireland! Ken Black in Kilkenny had wave 1 Leaders,Voyagers,Deluxes and Prime Masters but strangely wave 2 Legends

You would have LOVED the Thrilling 30 line. There was a bit for everyone in there and the G1 figures we did get were of characters who never got their own proper new toys.

God, I need to get back into collecting that line. There was some really good stuff in it.

The original Landcross was small, and totally awesome.

Swoop makes a better leg in my opinion due to having those extra joints and pegs to lock everything together.

Stupid question, is there a separate thread for Predaking?

Anyway, still haven't found Wave 2 Deluxe or Prime Masters. Went on a road trip Saturday and found nothing. So many RID figs, Target had a bunch of Warriors still scanning at full price. All I really saw for PotP was three Jazz and a Dreadwind.

Went looking for Dreadwind today, ended up seeing a Jazz and a Slag (which looks really nice), decided on just Jazz as I'm waiting for the dinos to drop in price although it would be a lot more tempting if the dinos had all been released at once to impulse buy the lot of them. Then I found a Dreadwing on the way out of the store and was going to put Jazz back. Glad I didn't as Jazz is pretty neat and it feels as though a bit more effort was put into him than the other combiner cars.

He's my favorite deluxe from PotP so far, I like 3 of his 4 modes. I think he makes a skinny arm in limb mode, so I use him as a leg for Galvatronus along with Wheeljack.

For those of you who have Rippersnapper, how do you like yours? I ask because I love this figure. He is fun, I love the beast mode, and even has wrist swivels. So far, he is the best of the line for me. Second is the combined Battletrap. Third are the Dinobot deluxes (whether or not I prefer them to be a larger size class, they are great toys).

So far, PotP has actually be a pleasant surprise for me. The only miss has been that it seems as though production quality and packaging have taken a bit of a hit. Lot of loose joints and 5mm ports not quite sized right, and a lot of mold flashing and other curiosities (doesn't effect the playability, just looks bad). Packages themselves are thinner and just have a more rough feel, but that's not my main concern, it's how they package the figures. My Blackwing has curved tailfins because of how he was put in the packaging, and Hun-Grrr's Abominus head's earpipes are also curved because (when packaged) they didn't turn the earpipes down, so it stayed in the compartment curved. I am sure with time this can be fixed (it's that soft rubbery plastic anyway), but they really need to try to fix that going forward.

Back to Rippersnapper though, man I love that figure. Can't wait for his 3 friends to show up in a few months.

I'm digging Ripper Snapper for sure. His beast/monster mode is GREAT! While his transformation is just CW 2.0, it's neat to see it applied to a beast form. It's what one would expect from a combiner limb figure, but both modes are solid and fun. While Hun-Gurrr was a tad underwhelming, he got me excited for the full Abominus squad, and RS has me even more excited to complete the team.

I also find this hilariously entertaining!

Well I got to see Hun-Gurr's packaging this weekend, too bad it had a TR Astrotrain inside it . Also there was a deluxe Sludge. Everything appeared to be there but I passed because the package had been torn open and taped back shut (not sure why when everything appeared to be there). If I'm paying almost $17 for a deluxe, I want it absolutely sealed. I don't know what frustrates me more, the people that return these toys, or the ignorance/apathy of the employees that allow it. TR Voyagers are going on clearance for $20. Seems like a lot of effort just to repackage and return them to save $5.

Also, for years it was always standard for Transformers to be packaged in their alt modes. It may have been a cost-saving measure to package them in robot mode, unfortunately it leads to a lot more shady dealings in returning old figures or discounted ones in exchange for new ones.

Still have most of my old collection from my childhood...discovered alt.toys.transformers.marketplace back in the day and started filling holes in the collection from there. (Yes, I am old.)

Well after seeing Black Panther on opening night, I decided to hit up a few stores on my way home. I stopped by a Walmart and to my surprise (I hadn't been following the sightings) I found Rodimus Unicronus. From the preview pictures I'd been like "He's neat but I don't need him." Once I saw him in person though, he just spoke to me. So I impulse bought him. He's a really good figure! I like the mold, I like that the blacks match unlike on Rod Prime and I adore that evil goatee head sculpt. He has been sitting on my desk for the last week because all my shelves are full and i don't know where i"m going to eventually stick him, and I got to fiddling with him and some other figures of mine that are in arm's reach. I wound up taking this.

There was no peg for them, and the pegs were all but empty of any PotP figures, so I took an old RiD Legion tag, removed it, and stocked it myself. You're Welcome Sam. I wish it had been wave 2, but it seems all the brief wave 2 sightings were *there-and-gone*. I just Have Elita-1 and 1/2 of Battletrap. Anyone in the U.S. still seeing wave 2 in their area?

I just grabbed Hun-grr today and my buddy found the wave 2 Legends at a Meijer in Michigan. So it sounds like they're still around.

Have people been finding these at Walmart? This is the first time I've heard of it. Whoever does Walmart's planograms really screwed up by apparently forgetting to put space for these on the shelves, but leaving space for clearanced TLK figures.
