YouTube member MisterFanwank has uploaded a video review of the highly anticipated Transformers Prime Deluxe Megatron from the Entertainment two pack that also includes a Deluxe Optimus Prime, a DVD, and mini-figures of the Jack, Miko, and Raf. Check out his review embedded below.

I really like this figure, but I think I'll hold out for a Voyager Class Megatron.

It's weird because even the fact that his head is clearly visible in vehicle mode doesn't really bother me. I guess I'm just a huge fan of Transformers Prime's designs.

I am also thinking of waiting until the Voyager version comes out and make a comparison. But so far I am impressed. The figure looks pretty good. I don't care that his head is visible in jet mode, I will only display him in robot mode anyway.

I'm probably the only one who wishes he was also available outside the entertainment pack because to me he's a potential troop-builder; if painted green and white, several of these guys would be perfect additions to the air force of the Second Generation Cybertronian Empire, a completely toyless faction for which I've customized 8 solo figures and 2 5-Con gestalt teams so far. The only ground assault vehicles I've done as of yet just happen to be ROTF FAB tank Megs dyed green, so somewhat unworthy Megatrons have a history of becoming awesome cannon fodder in my collection. (Not that my customizing skills have really set foot outside the realm of amateur hour)

So if anyone here is buying the entertainment pack but looking to unload Megs here, just drop me a line or throw it on Ebay, and I'll likely be all over it!

i'm pretty sure most people would like to get this outside of the entertainment pack. i think you're in the majority.

anyways. this figure looks wonderful. i love the look, the design rules. and they actually used silver which is awesome (it's such a shame that a plus for a figure is that it uses silver paint)

i too would like a voyager figure, and it pisses me off that we haven't seen or heard of one yet.

if deluxe megatron looks this good, i can't even imagine how great a voyager version would be. deluxe prime looks like garbage compared to the voyager.

I gotta thank this guy for posting a video review of him to actually see the transformation because I love TFP megatron, but at the end he's got the totally wrong idea about the rest of the line imho

In spite of his flaws, I still want him. I'm glad he alerted us to these potential cons of the figure, but i want to see it for myself in hand to make my own opinions. I may wind up agreeing or disagreeing with him, but I want to have it for myself.

I don't care what the guy is saying in the video. (I usually watch these reviews on mute, but this time I didn't. God knows why) I like what I see.

He looks better to me in the video than he has in pictures up till now. With just a liiiiiiiittle more silver paint, he'd look pretty great. But I do like the color separation overall. I like the head sculpt, too.

I don't care about lack of paint as the whole line will need painting to get that worn look with tiny scratches that they all have in the cartoon. I'm glad I know about the connection issue before getting my paws on this but he's still one of the better looking designs so far.

Doesn't bother me cause even on his actual show model it's pretty visible (You can even kinda make out his eyes! :lol:

).
