If Hasbro wanted to go REALLY nuts with mass-release versions of obscure Botcon characters, he could also be repainted into a great Turbomaster/Scorch.
Scorch was not a Botcon-only character... he was a turbomaster from G1...

So do brain cells.
Seriously, it is one the stupidest things I've come across in the fandom. Hasbro says one thing, the G1 show said another, the comics yet another. Instead of letting the so called "official" sources decide, how about people use their imagination and let it be who they want it to be?
This thread is meant to be a showcase of Hasbro's upcoming offerings. Not a discussion about RIFFRAFF, RAZAFRACKIN or whatever they want to call it.

But it it's squareish around the holes, plus it has molded in springs, suggesting that it's meant to thrust, rather than spin.njb902 wrote:orangeitis wrote:They look like piledrivers, I dunno what you're seeing.njb902 wrote:people...people.......your missing the point. he has gatling guns....for HANDS!!!!!!!!!!! this epicosity has been brought to you by Hasbro.

there are 4 holes at the end of the cylinder....so in my messed up world that equates to gatling guns.

I know! It's a Gatling-Pile-Driver. Twice the pain for twice as much fun!

It really kinda sucks, honestly.
Autobot032 wrote:Evil_the_Nub wrote:Cobalt Prime wrote:Can't for the life of me figure out why they are releasing this mold as Kup first, seeing as how they just released the design as a Cyberverse Ironhide. You'd think Kup would have been the follow up repaint of Ironhide rather than the other way around.
I'm starting to think Hasbro is releasing the inferior figures first on purpose. They know people are less likely to buy a repaint or new mold of the same character if the first one was better. That might be the reason they screwed us out of the FE figures, they knew nobody would buy the PRiD versions if we already had the superior FE figures.
Here's a weird thought:
Figures that didn't receive First Edition treatment are almost crazy accurate.
Wheeljack? Pretty dang close.
Knock Out? Pretty dang close.
Airachnid? Body needs work, but that head? Dead on.
Dreadwing? Almost perfect. Even got the gun we wanted.
First Edition figures are almost exact duplicates of the show models. (Key word: almost. They're not 100% perfect)
Yet their PRID versions are almost painful to look at. It's almost like they're GIVING us a reason to buy FE figures. If you take FE plus PRID to fill in the gaps, the cast toys look almost perfect.
....I swear this was a sales ploy. Looks like it's working, too.
ricemazter wrote:All in all I've been fairly dissapointed by this whole line. I'm fairly new to this, and I get the feeling I picked a bad time to jump on the bandwagon. FEs were great, RiDs are largely meh.
I'll get dead end because the head sculpt is novel enough for me, and I actually kind of like the overall asthetic of him.
I suppose I'll get airachnid just cause she's airachnid, and it probably won't get better from here.
Kup is okay...I guess...Am I the only one who is bothered by his head sculpt? It really doesn't fit well at all with the rest of the figures, He has a nose for god sakes!
Rumble, sure why not. He looks cool, but looking at his hands, I'm worried that the weapons are going to attach like a normal gun, which would be awful.
Honestly I had a lot of hope for the prime toys since I first started seeing iimages of FEs. I even braved secondary market prices to get ss arcee and bb, but I can't bring myself to open them, because I doubt we'll get anything with the same quality.
Hotrodimust wrote:I'm gonna have to agree with u on that but none the less I still like the figure for what it is and will be getting it. And I kinda like how they are making more autobots bulky like that can handle some **** instead of all the little weak looking autobots from g1 not that I don't love my g1 one but u gotta admit a lot of autobots are small
