Unless he fools Megatron into thinking he's the legit Breakdown.
I doubt Silas has the skills to understand what kind of personality Breakdown had.
He'll blow his cover before long.

What personality? The dude barely got more than 10 minutes per episode (mind Deus ex Machina and Operation: Breakdown, where he had more prominent roles), and the only thing we know about his "personality" is that he's a nervous wreck and that he prefers working alone (per How to Draw Transformers Prime Breakdown bio, which makes no sense considering he's partnered with Knock Out and doesn't display any paranoia in the cartoon).
I think Knock Out would be the one to uncover Silas' little trick, not Megatron.

I mean, last episode had Megatron utterly dumbfounded to learn that mere human girl slaughtered the most vicious of all the Insecticons. Perhaps he's begun to reconsider human competence?

That's kinda what I was thinking too. The episode ended with Megatron learning about Miko's involvement. She's obviously in serious jeopardy now, but that's the obvious outcome, Megatron rethinking his opinion of humans could play a part. Especially since a mere human child took out Hardshell, what are the possibilities of a human adult, in a Transformer body? The brains of Silas (who has already proven to be a thorn in their sides) now without the weakness of the fleshy body ... Could make for an interesting proposal in Megatron's mind.

Saying hardshell was the most vicious insecticon is overatting him.
Megatron had trouble taking out an insecticon. But bulkhead can knock out hardshell easily? And megatron was able to take on bulk and the rest of the autobots singlehandedly.
Yeah megatron may indeed see silas as more of an ally, needless to say megatron will also be plotting and have soundwave constantly watching him
Bubbah wrote:With all the debate over Silas/Breakdown being discovered and found out, have we even seen anything that suggests Silas is going to try to hide himself? All I've seen for certain is a busted up Breakdown, and a stitched up Silas face. So what if Silas basically has his head on Breakdown's body and goes to Megatron totally exposed as such with some sort of plan to get on Megatron's good side?
MINDVVIPE wrote:I like how theres so much contemplation on how this episode will turn out, with a lot of cool ideas mentioned. Yet, I feel we aren't going to get anything as crazy as we are really hoping for. Might just be a lame fight where silas challenges megatron and whatever other cons, and ends up getting pwned, and then some additional story element that connects it to something upcoming. But hey, if they can spin it so that Silas does something a little out of the box to somehow engage Megatron in a meaningful, threatening way, Awesome. It would immediately raise Silas to Zarak status.
Its lame how she magically pressed the right button to fire the missiles at a random target. Sure, it ain't impossible, but its so meaningless that she magically got lucky and killed another Con before letting it kill another autobot. As much as it would have pissed people off, I would have liked either Bulk or Wheeljack to fully been taken offline ("permanently") and had a huge moment of loss. Then this new recruit would have mattered so much more to the viewers and overall story. Ah well, guess death doesn't sell for the youthful fans (that I respect, no offense intended).
Bubbah wrote:And thanks Kuma ... My ideas are just speculation and guessing at the moment haha. I'm really excited to see where it goes and how it plays out. Silas has got a lot to offer, and with the failures of only retrieving 1/4 of the relics (props to Soundwave), now is a perfect time for Silas to try to make an entrance into the Decepticon ranks.

My pleasure. And to be honest, what you said is the kind of things that have made me return here. Because it lets us actually look at the details given to us, and add it to what we already know. That is something I love doing because for me, at least, it keeps my mind active and has me wonder what more they can do for the series.

And I agree. Megatron knows that the Autobots have humans on their side. He also was told about a "Human girl" as well, which made no sense unless his informant knew she was sneaking around. So stuff like that should have him say "If they can do it, I can do it better!" And that, unless they do not go down that direction, can help lead them into the whole "Powermaster" concept.
Besides... That reminds me of the theory I had when it came to Starscream cloning Airachnid, using the clone to control the Insecticons. Because if MECH does join, he will need to amp up his chances to not only get revenge on both them and Megatron... But also regain full control of the Decepticons.
Bubbah wrote:Yeah it's fun to take things you see in a show and add your own parts to it they they either avoid, have to leave out because of time or just don't think of. But I will admit, I'm clueless as to what they've got planned for poor Starscream. He's the butt of jokes and a punching bag at this point ... Actually he reminds me a lot of Waspinator lol. I really hope they have a long term plan for him so he can redeem himself a bit and actually show off some of his potential badassness (yes that's a word, it's my story & I'm sticking to it haha).
Sabrblade wrote:Yes. What you speak is true. I did previously see it as you describe, as it was what I was informed of originally. My source was misled and I fell right in with that misnomer. And even after coming to realize that Airachnid really did set that trap, I did not formally retract those statements I made back then. So now (better late than never), I formally take back all that I ever said about MECH setting that trap instead of Airachnid.BeastProwl wrote:OK FIRST OF ALL.
Back when we discussed this in the Discussion Thread, I said Airachnid trapped him, and YOU argued that it was MECH, and she took advantage. I got this whole scenario from youHow ironic.

1) just out of curiosity, who?
2) yeah I was thinking that too, I really hope he becomes a bit of a badass for a lil while, I want to see him feared for a while.

1) Sorry... I meant you. But I guess I was too preoccupied with how my birthday turned out in the end (it pulled a nice 180) that I forgot to mention that.Sorry about that.
2) I think what a lot of people forget is that he is a huge threat in the series. Even if he lacks the strength to validate his leadership skills, he has the know-how to get things done. So I also feel that his intellect could make him a complete badass, especially when he is given the right resources.

I'm still thinking 1st generation Powermaster, as the Headmasters would be a a very tricky element when it comes to the style this series is being done.
Then again... I could see MECH somehow making that happen.
