THE ENERGON CAKE IS A LIE!
Yeah, I started this chapter in my head near Halloween...
I've been playing Portal 2 and Half-Life recently, really fun, really challenging.
If there is a problem with this, please do not hesitate to tell me!
Chapter VII
Airbrake saw nothing but black, simply nothing.
Until, finally, a light flickered on inside of the small closet. It's electric hum dipersing around the room.
If this is what this Mech calls 'imagination', I will have no problem getting past him. Airbrake thought as she tried to lift her head to look around.
She craned her neck to get a better view, but her systems were just coming back online, so movement wasn't much of an option. So she layed her head back down in it's original lying position to rest her servos.
"Hey! What're you doing away from your post?! Get back over there!" She heard from the other side of the door.
She suddenly began to fall back into unconsiousness, but not before she heard something she wished she could forget.
"Hey! Are you listening...? Oh man... What is up with your-OOF!!" She heard the same Mech speak again.
She heard crashes bangs and other strange noises from behind the door and screaming. Putrid screams of pain and agony. And after that, wheezes, then unconsiousness.
She awoke some time later to find the light still flickering and dimly lighting the room. Her systems were coming back online a little faster now, letting her only have to wait a breem to be fully started.
She looked over to the door with her optics to see that there was an odd bulge in the door. And she heard liquid dripping as well, what was it? She couldn't tell at the time and there was something more pressing to get done. Getting out of this room.
She leaned forward, finally fully powered and ready to pull a few punches of her own, however now she needed to find a weapon. She looked down to see that she was perched on a few boxes made of various materials. She then curled back her legs and opened the box that they were laying on. She found metal cable and a large steel beam, she wrapped the cable around her right shoulder and left waist and weaved the end through itself to hold it steady. Then she picked up the beam with one arm and raised it above her head. Then, aiming for the control pannel on the door, she swung hard, smashing the panel open and exposing the inner wiring.
He must have heard that, otherwise, he would have been deafened. Or not even at his post, which is a good thing for me, Airbrake thought to herself as she began to reach around in the wiring of the door,
Either way, how hard could this be, opening a door? Piece of Energon Cake. She began to pick around, unplugging wires and plugging them back in until she found a large black wire near the back. It had to be the power switch. She yanked hard until it released from it's grip and fell to the bottom of the box. She took a deep breath in, then out to calm herself and prepare for battle, for every time might be her last.
She grabbed hold of the bulge and placed her foot against the wall to gain leverage, then pushed hard with all her might. The door creaked forward and groaned in protest until it was stopped by one of the bulges in the door.
Seeing that there was no way that she could make this door open any further, she pressed her back against the wall and began to push through the small opening that the door created. It was a tight fit, but thankfully she made her way through and into the hallway.
As her foot impacted, it splashed in a puddle of some sort of liquid. She stopped as a sudden cold chill came over her, she hesitated to look down, for fear of what she might see. She turned her head slowly to see a puddle of liquified Energon, of where it came she could only guess.
She heard a groan from behind her, and she whipped around to find the Mech that had brought her to the closet, only different. He was
glowing! He was glowing a dark purple, dimly lighting him. What she saw that was lit, was beyond grotesque. The middle of the body, and part of the side, was missing! It showed the wall behind him, meaning that this was not a trick of the optics. The rest of his body was beaten to a pulp, dripping Energon in some places, and groaning as he walked forward.
She unwraveled the wire slung around her shoulder as it dropped to the ground as if a whip, then, she craned her arm above her head, ready to lash out.
He groaned again, but this time, it almost sounded like a whisper was deep inside the groan... Impossible.
He was getting closer as he sped up his pace and began to run at her. She lashed out with her cable as if a whip, striking him in the faceplate, and shattering some of it on impact. She then lashed again, but to the side so it would wrap around the approaching "Mech"'s neck, and it did so perfectly. The "Mech" staggered as she pulled hard on the cable, in hopes to pull him to the ground, but no such luck, he had been able to stablize himself with his awkward staggering.
She then pulled him to her and readied her metal beam as a club, and, when the time was right, she swung hard, striking the "Mech" on the forehead, she assumed that this "Mech" was unconsious after the blow to the head, but it clambered back to it's feet and resumed it's advance upon her.
He opened his mouth wide and ran at her, and Airbrake acted fast by leaping onto him in a handstand, then she dropped behind him and pulled the cable hard around the neck of the "Mech" and began to slide it from side to side, the cracking of breaking fuel vessels giving her a gruesome reminder that what she was doing was working. She was cutting the head off the "Mech" and was going to kill him.
"Die! Please!" She bellowed as finally the head gave way, and clunked to the ground.
Whatever just happened, was over, and she was the victor of this battle.
She heard shouts and commands from further down the hallway, it was obvious to her. Decepticons. She needed to get out of this corridor, or she would certainally be reduced to scrap metal.
