I noticed it and I am pretty sure thats how it will be. This RID line has shown that it has a hard time merging that aesthetic with jets, as seen by windblade who has a bad case of kibble in both modes.At least Starscream's robot mode is fine since his nosecone is incorporated into his robot mode.

That Cybertron mention is fun though because that line did get the other seekers... but using a different mold

So then did Hasbro break the law by not releasing a thundercracker and Skywarp in Prime? Nothing is set in stone. And in show continuity, Thundercracker and Skywarp do not exist, the only other seekers are Skyquake and Dreadwing.

They broke every possible law. As soon as the line ended with nary a seeker repaint on Hasbro's side I grabbed by pitchfork and torch on a march to Hasbro Europe. It was a glorious night.

But yeah like, I see where you're coming from; but there's a few reasons I think it'd happen here. First being that RiD likes it's repaints a lot more than TFP. Outside of some exclusives like the Dark Energon series, the only mold re-usage I can recall in TFP was Skyquake and some heavy retools for Beast Hunters. Meanwhile, RiD sees fit to release Optimus and Drift three times because they got desert and winter camo...
The second, and I know this seems a little bit arbitrary, but that mold... only really fit Starscream. And despite the common traits of silver tongues and treachery, this felt like a very different Starscream to what we usually got in terms of his personality and body language - and the body itself. Every other seeker mold before and after - barring obvious exceptions like Alternity - has followed the same general look of G1. Cockpit chest, null rays, wing backpack and a body shape that had some solid bulk to it but still managed to pull off athleticism. TFP Starscream... didn't feel like that. Which is good, because I'm always up for something different; but you couldn't really eek seekers out of it like with the Animated or FOC molds. Takara did it, and it just... it just doesn't feel right. Animated Sunstorm works, Generations Skywarp works... Arms Micron Thundercracker just feels very off. It's a mold meant for Starscream, and it definitely doesn't work outside of Starscream - it's not meant to be a seeker imo.

Are you sure? It looks like his chest is a fake nosecone.

Yeah, no way that's the vehicle mode nosecone. Starscream's taking hints from his CW Leader counterpart.

I think this mold will get at least a Skywarp and Thundercracker. I don't question it. I mostly am hoping though that we get an orange Sun-storm, and an Acid-storm with green eyes.

Of course. I actually was tempted to add Redwing and Hotlink specifically to the list, but then thought, "If I have doubts that they're going to do Sunstorm and Acidstorm, then I'm pretty sure those are pretty much impossible by Hasbro."

Maybe Takara will do some repaints such as those, but I doubt it.

No need for a broad-chested, small ass-d Slipstream.

If I get the chance to take a brake from working on TFcon stuffs I'll pop out and buy one. I'll do a step by step transformation to show ere'body what's going on with this thing. I was pleasantly surprised when Xtreme made the sightings post.

But isnt the point of the character, when introduced, that she was the same body as Starscream, but a woman? I always found that a fun notion.

Her animation model was slimmer and more lithe - even moreso than Screamer himself - but I still think it can easily work as a Starscream redeco.
Though considering we already have a great Slipstream from Legends, I am holding onto hope for Sunstorm from this. I know we already got a Classics one, but it's not only a botcon exclusive, it's like one of the most sought-after botcon exclusives ever. If you don't have it already, you have no chance to get it now. I needs me a new Sunstorm. I NEEDS IT

The molds look good, and I'm glad we're getting decent deluxe molds now, but this show is still deplorable

I'm not the only one that sees it right? The shoulder pads, the way the wings drape down from his back? All he's missing is a crown. Maybe the mass retail version?

Why not make him intangible (Energon), make him a giant (Cybertron/Galaxyforce), give him wheels (Alternity), and give him mini-con pegs? And make him a Pretender? And um.. oh make him an Action Master. And uh... what else am I missing?

Make him pregnant:

Oh Primus that is funny. Oh! Make his Decepticon symbols red!

Give him the ability to have digitigrade legs!

Well this bit of news is a pleasant surprise. I think I need that figure in my life. And if we do get other seekers out of this mold I'd probably buy them.

I wonder why they made a Starscream anyway. It seems to have a bit of an animated homage with the wings.

At least Rid is better then that trash that was Prime (got really bad after season 1 outside of a few stand out episodes)


If you can't tell Prime is my most hated show due to wasted potential and lack of characterization outside of a couple of characters.
