What is with this?

Its simple, it is not G1 therefore it is not important to the current brand team. Whenever we get to the wave with all the Bumblebee movie bots from the first 5 minutes of the film, I'm guessing those will get a little attention because they are G1-ish enough to maybe catch the design teams interest.

They said it was possible, which is a very noncommittal answer, but it also wasn't a no. If they had that answer prepared it makes me think it's at least been discussed.
Ironhide definitely needs a reissue (or a DOTM version with the rifles), some of the Constructicons could use another run, and if they get around to the other Dinobots, I think Grimlock would be a good reissue as well.
Either SS-32 or SS-44 Prime would be a really good choice as well.
Their code for "No" back in the TF: Prime days was "Stay tuned."william-james88 wrote:EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:A small note from the recent Hasbro Q&A - Hasbro was asked about reissues of early SS figures that are really expensive now (Ironhide). Its never a no. But "we'll see" or "possible" is as close to a no as they give.

I had no interest what so ever in picking up the new BB movie figures, but this guy has completely changed my mind. I love how he looks and the transformation is great!

I really like the head sculpt and alt mode, he's pretty cool looking. Don't think it's something that I'd pick up, but we have a long break till the next Bayverse figure so we'll see!
The car mode looks a bit like a chopped up Lamborghini so I wonder if they used any parts of either Hot Rod or Lockdown.Till-all-R1 wrote:I like the head sculpt on Wheeljack, but the rest is very meh. The car mode in particular is way too choppy for me. Bot mode isn't horrible just not my Wheeljack so it's tough to accept other versions, but I haev seem better looking versions in the past.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Suggestion for next Transformers X crossover: Dick Butkus.
