It's like the complete opposite of how things were handled by the Hasbro team of 2010-2013, who were just so secretive and overprotective of everything. At every one of those years' BotCons, that Hasbro team held panels for new revelations related to the Aligned continuity (TF: Prime, the WFC/FOC video games, or just the Aligned lore in general) and each time they were like "What we're about to show you requires that you turn off all your cameras and recording devices, and if we find out that you've taken any pictures or videos of this, you're history, and so is our showing you all anything like this ever again!"Rtron wrote:william-james88 wrote:Yeah, this stream was great and streams have gotten better. I like when they just let the designer talk. really loved the bit about interacting with the Lamborghini company and how big an input they had. You never hear about stuff like this.
Exactly, things like that, or the amount of people involved in making Megatron, or them just flat out saying that they couldn't factor Inferno's gun into the budget.

Well I wouldn't call myself a convert, but I'm not against getting a great looking piece like that either. I don't have many SS figures, leaders mostly, but this will be a centerpiece for sure.Hellscream9999 wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Okay, I'm very impressed by the detail on The Fallen. I was gonna pass on him because I generally don't care for Bayverse, but that's a good looking figure.
And yes, Rumble is an insta-buy.
You know hasbro's done a figure right if it can make converts out of people

I also did enjoy hearing about how Inferno and Starscream do share that voyager budget and how a change in deco for inferno's ant eyes meant removing paint from Starscream's sword. It does confirm what people have been saying a long time that to understand how a figure comes out, you have to get a sense of the entire wave/class output.
As for the decision, it makes both figures more toy accurate. But at the same time, I woudn't have minded the original plan either. Still, cool to know they think a lot of stuff like that.

Dr. Caelus wrote:Just scored core class Ratchet and Wheelie for $8.49 each.
Be alert - Ratchet's gun was loose in the box. If I hadn't been pulling it fresh out of the case myself it'd probably be lost to the winds of the toy aisle.

Where from? And yeah, been having some issues myself with parts bouncing around in the box.

Modern Transformers sure got hit hard with the shrink ray...

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Definitely not.
The thickness of the ships are way different in the front. I guess SS Fallen will be kinda like the 2001 RiD Megatron and can transform into 12 "modes".

I guess that's the type of "vehicle" where anything goes.

The struts that connect to the arms in bot mode end up in completely different places on the render, like something is supposed to be pulled apart in the back of the vehicle and then connected to the legs/engines that they didn't do.
