Have to agree that is one of the best birdbots I've ever seen and I'm not that big a fan of Beastformers in general. Definitely improving over time with what they can do.

I remember many fans not caring for ss cliffjumper. But I got him just in case I'd be glad to have him some day. And the day has come since I've now got a nice little set of Bumblebee movie opening bots and he has more than doubled on eBay (sold listings)

Really love that Airazor design: detailed without being cluttered, mixing the anatomy of the original bot-mode with the cyborg design of the Transmetal, and the bird mode looks awesome! The curious part for me is the face, since it's a lot less detailed than usual for the movies; maybe the Maximals have the metal-sikn look the cartoon and comics usually have, given they're somewhat technorganic?

A pity no store in my city seem to stock on Transformers unless there's an ongoing movie/series. Guess I'll have to wait till next year for more Studio Series...

Laserbeak is surprisingly good, he's like an upgraded DOTM Cyberverse Bee! Articulation is surprisingly good given the size, sculpted detail is good, and it's cool to have a 3mm version of Bee's plasma cannon!

Also, something fun I noticed, they must have based Laserbeak off of the CAD file for SS DOTM Bumblebee because he has Bumblebee's weapon storage tabs on the back near the exhaust pipes! (and while you can't see it at that angle, you can see 4 support struts for the spoiler on the back of Laserbeak like the SS figure, while the actual Camaro has 2.)

Hot Rod is spectacular, the engineering for the chest and lower legs/feet is pretty insane, especially for a deluxe. Articulation and detail is great, it's easily one of the best deluxes of the line!

I was so deeply dissatisfied with LaserBeak I returned him It was the lack of tabbing together in robot mode, wonky looking arms and the legs banging into the back panels constantly, glad other people are enjoying him! (I also got Rumble (blue) that day and he was pretty fun tho)

Thanks! After working on a few SS Bumblebees I wanted to get the DOTM version as accurate as I could, so I added some new details like the silver trim around the taillights!

Just finished working on KSI Sentry! I tried mapping the details from the Trax drone onto this guy, with some other details to complement the Stinger mold. I'll have to get some pics with Galvatron soon!

I do like this figure but I hope we see some proper KSI Trax drones in the future!

Thanks! I'm hoping to track down one or two more to try and paint this guy in some of the other colors we see in the movie!

I got my core Laserbeak in today, and he isn't bad. I wish the roof had an extra joint in it to hinge it out of the way of the legs, and that the forearms were a little longer (core Hot Rod in Kingdom had the same problem), but otherwise it's good. I love the pink color used

Well this is interesting. Remember that cool looking ROTB Airazor figure we saw that many liked? Turns out that isn't even Studio Series. Instead it would be from the mainline more targetted towards kids while the actual Studio Series figure is the one below. It is indeed more articulated and more detailed. But the transformation is less original, seemingly taking a lot from the Kingdom toy's transformation, though it is a fully new mold as can be seen below. The face will probably be closer to what we will see in the film than the previous toy we saw.

We also have images of Studio Series voyager Battletrap. He is one of the three Terrorcons in the film. All photos come from Sonic Bomber.

Looks real nice. Truck mode is really sweet. Reminds me a bit of Movie Longarm only better.


Also, AirRazor looks like a slightly enalrged retool of AirRazor, not really an enitrely new mold.
