I hope we get more movie designs and if they are bringing the games designs, the gives me hope that the Movie games characters have a chance too.

The idea of getting movie game figures is the silver lining of this whole thing for me, there’s no reason we couldn’t get guys like Breakaway, Warpath, and Stratosphere from the ROTF/DOTM games now

He did get a toy in the Siege line though

I honestly didn't bother with the Netflix toon to see if he turned up in there however.

But yeah, I concur with Sabrblade, Barricade was playable on level 1, it was only the DS version that had to unlock him.

Opening the floor to tf video games does mean the drones from the first live action can get toys again

Are we sure that the WFC Megatron & Optimus aren't re-releases of the Siege figures with Netflix decos? (e.g., green windows on Op.)

If they were just rereleases they would be labeled as package refreshes (potentially even if they had slightly different paint, as shown by Legacy Galvatron and Soundwave), but they don't say that.

Also why would they need to give Studio Series spots to character designs from a series that just ended, already got a whole trilogy that just ended this year and an exclusive subline dedicated to it, and took most of it's models directly from the CAD files of the figures so they aren't inaccurate?

One team that is definitely worth a redo is FOC Bruticus. It was awesome as a Combiner Wars prototype, but as toys they sucked mighty asses. Especially that deluxe Onslaught.

If SS can deliver, I'd be so buying!

It would be interesting for the Studio Series to encompass the video games too. We might even see some SS-level, modern Armada figures ala the PS2 game.

As individual figures, though, the four limb bots were pretty decent in their vehicle and robot modes. It was just their arm and leg modes where they suffered.

I do agree that Onslaught was overall pretty poor in all of his modes, though. He would have greatly benefited from being a Voyager instead of a Deluxe.

Seems like the siege figures repainted to me, which I'd be interetsed in neither anyways with the WFC games story being a bit pants especially the dinobots (it would only take a live action movie to do them worse...oh wait...they already did that). Wouldn't mind the Baynus game bots showing up in SS though (the multiplayer bots, shockwave, camshaft -whatever it's decepticon name was etc).

But if it's cell shading which hasbro has a thing for with marvel xmen, two transformers and one whole power ranger it might be a good lead in to getting transformers devastation runamuk/runabout generics and a rerelease of Devy.

With the new deluxe listings, core DOTM Bee could really be our only Bayverse figure next year, which is super disappointing. I am excited for core Bee though, and there is at least some stuff I'm interested in, Bee's ROTB design looks good so far and I'm in for some of the WFC/FOC stuff if that's what it is.

The inclusion of the High Moon designs into StuSer seems very exciting. A lot of those designs deserved to have physical toys and the ones we did get weren't really that bad but in dire need of a do-over. I'm betting my money that the reason the HMS designs are coming via Studio Series is because someone during a board meeting probably brought up Rise of the Dark Spark; providing the best excuse to do toys from some old game series! It would be funny seeing "Game Universe Optimus Prime" on a box, though.

Great vehicle mode. The robot mode doesn't appeal much to me, the doors are too high up. They should be like Bumblebee's.

I still say his car mode should split in half long ways.

Went for Que for variety. Because, do we really need yet another stab at Evasion Mode?
Don't think it can be any better Han Takara's Legendary so....

I'd like to see what they do with Megs and that jet mode though, and have no real attachment to Devcon.
