There's a trick to getting rid of the gaps in vehicle mode. Underneath the roof of the car is a clear blue peg, and in the back of the waist there is a peg hole, make sure they are tabbed together and you will get a much cleaner car mode.

Why so many people got the "gappy car"? As mentioned above, there's a tab behind Jazz's waist that tab under the roof. THAT is what will remove the gaps. My guess is the instructions are obviously unclear for this step.

More like nonexistent.. looking at steps 12-13, there is no mention of that tab/peg AT all.

I think the KSI Sentry is fine, however as good as Shadow Raider looks I would of rather had Axor as the reuse. (With the same Lockdown masked head as much as I would love the Axor head.)

Not sure what difference there is between 18 and 24. Both are yellow VW Bee. I presume one is a single pack and the other is the double pack with TLK Bee?
Also 15 is 77 Bee again...but with a mini-figurine of Charlie? Hey I'd like a bunch of human mini-figurines. Human Alliance figures are nice in that they're very articulated but too large for scale and too expensive to be buying all the TF figures they come with for them.

Wow. I get that Bee has his own movie coming out and Hasbro is going to push that hard, but for seven out of twenty five figures to be Bumblebee is insane. That’s more than a quarter of this line. Granted two of them are exclusives, but they’re still part of the numbering system. Even if you take them out it’s still five out of twenty-three. Plus the character of Stinger is just a cheap, man made copy of Bumblebee. Not the toy, but the character itself.

This line started out very, very strong, but I can’t help feeling like it’s gotten a little off track. While part of me is somewhat thankful that this is going to give my wallet a break, I’d really like to see them get back on track after. There’s still a lot they could do with this line. For the most part I don’t mind repaints. I know that repaints are a cheap and effective way to fuel a line. Hell they could release a repainted Megatron with silver paint and I’d buy it. They could release Brawl in desert camo (even though he didn’t appear like that in the movies), and I would still probably buy it. If they release Grindor as a straight repaint I’d be intensely disappointed, but I would still begrudgingly buy it. It’s just...this is a staggering number of Bees...

yeah, i don't get 15 at all. Would make more sense to include Charlie with VW Bee as not really sure how much time if any at all she spends with him as a Camaro. I love Bee and I don't mind the gold repaints cos they look different enough (and if i could afford I'd have them both) but releasing the exact same figures folk already own or plan to own is a bit frustrating.

Yeah I gave up on that as of Last Knight Bee getting chucked in there. I'd love the whole line but I'm not buying an exact copy of a toy I already have. That and two expensive exclusives so far. I'm getting gold VW Bee but not the Camaro.

Amuses me that the Starscreams are squatting so low to appear slightly shorter than Optimus when they're a fair bit taller. And no way is the Optimus figure that much taller than the Ratchet

He's also shown with a gun arm in the photo above while the other isn't so there's probably a difference in weapons between the two similar to the two Starscreams.

I didn't even realise that's what was happening when I have been transforming him back and forth over the past couple months. I was always just smooshing the roof down on the car til it fit down more snugly and avoided those ugly gaps every time (and it's frustrating when people don't get that done and just review a gappy Jazz and slag it off. I appreciate that william-james went back and corrected his Jazz' transformation. ) and now you've pointed it out I can see that is what is happening and I may take a lil bit more care in case I break that clear peg. That hole the peg goes into is Jazz' robot mode flight stand port (that majority of TF's have had since AoE era) and I sure don't want the peg breaking off in there and rendering the port useless cos I love using flght stands for doing action poses. Wondering if it's worth just sanding that peg down and it's not essential for transformation and as shown has properly been getting in the way of it for a lot of folks :O

But his right hand can be switched out for a gun arm. It's one of his accessories. Can't quite make it out in the pics resolution but I think he may be using his normal head in one and battle mask in the other too. Could just be the photographers using different accessories for variety.

Same here. Your opinion is usually very different to that of most collectors here who are not as much into the movie designs but that helps us get a better perspective at how varied the fanbase is out there. Plus, it lets us know that there are deinitely people who do appreciate the effort Hasbro is doing with these movie toys. Every TF toy should get at least some love.

The main purpose of Shadow Raider seems to be to provide Lockdown's gun and his mask head. And he's a redeco vaguely based on another vehicle seen in AoE (rather than just an alternate Lockdown) to try and counter the "But you already have that toy" factor

Thanks Carnivius_Prime for posting that definitive poster/list of 1-25. Even though I am not collecting these, that's the sort of geekiness that keeps me passively interested. Hopefully after rthe Bumblebee Movie, we wont get any more BB's in this series for quite some time, if at all (I think they have produced most of them). A little sad to see no other Leader Class yet.

Also, I was just thinking, small Anniversaries are usually not a big deal but...2019 is the 10th anniversary of RotF---*Passively Awaits a combined a Jet Optimus and proper Devastator*

Let me preface this by saying that Bumblebee (the movie version in particular) is obviously my favorite Transformer and I’d love to see more of his different forms in SS.

But holy scrap that’s a lot of bees.

It worries me though because I’d like to see a 2007 concept Camaro Bee and maybe a DOTM one, and the line is already so full of Bumblebee repaints with minimal changes that they may not want to do any more new mold/remold Bees.

There are some interesting notes on that scale guide, though!
- Optimus seems to be taller on that chart than the figure is in relation to the others. Maybe if we get a DOTM retool he’ll be just a little taller?
- I think they struck a good medium with VW Bee’s height. If they went full movie accurate scale he’d be scout class sized, but they still made him shorter than the other Bees so I think it works out pretty well.
- TLK Bee seems to be downscaled to fit the SS scale, so that’s kinda cool I guess.

I wouldn't trust the chart for size accuracy. As I said in an earlier post Prime looks way taller than Ratchet there than the toys actually do. If TLK Bee in this line is smaller that would be nice for scale but I can't see Hasbro going that far.

As much as I understand how popular Bumblebee is, SEVEN Deluxe Bumblebees from the same two moulds in one toyline seems a bit excessive, even if some of them are exclusives. Along with Dropkick not looking like his design in the movie (I don't expect a full triple-changing Dropkick toy) and flat-out making up a character to repaint Lockdown into instead of just retooling it into a new Hot Rod, I think Studio Series has really dropped the ball after wave 2.

Dropkick may look like that at one point though...now as for lockdown, I think someone else was right in that this was a way to get the gun and masked head out there. Who said they weren't making a hot rod anyway? There's plenty of time for that. Bee is still a bit of a mystery but they would probably expect people to pick and choose (while laughing at those who'll have to fight the urge to complete the line)

So with the 1977 Camero Version comes with Charlie, it appears, I'm guessing that means we'll see him shift into that by the end. If that is the case, I'm a bit disappointed by that.

Speaking of the Studio Series line, it looks like the VW Bug version of Bumblebee won't be available on the Hasbro site, unless it gets added just before the sale starts.

Why would you not like that? It would help bridge the idea that the film is a prequel. I mean I don't think he'd change his alt till the very end of the movie anyway
