Haven't actually picked up any of the previous SS BBs, but I do have a question, from all of them, which is the best figure in you opinion?

I'm trying to decide if I want to get another SS BB besides the upcoming RotF version.

A High Octane version would be great, that RS 327 version is a cool looking car, and looks great in black.

I was a late comer to SS, so I can definitely give some recent feedback. I have every bee mold so far, except B-127, which I'm skipping because I have Cliffjumper. Here is how I would rank the molds.

1 - Jeep Bee, this one is outstanding.
2 - ROTF (modern Camaro) Bee, very solid
3 - 77 Camaro Bee, very similar to ROTF bee, bit a little more fiddly.
4 - WV Bee, okay mold, but very fiddly
5 - WWII Bee, bought purely for the alt mode and like it.
6 - B-127. Meh, just meh. Bee wears the mold better, but the legs are a fiddly mess.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Jeep Bee. maybe I can find it for a good price.

Can confirm, Jeep Bee is pretty great. My list of the 4 I have, goes like this.
1. Jeep
2. VW.
3. B-127
10. 77 Camaro

A High Octane version would be great, that RS 327 version is a cool looking car, and looks great in black.

The ROTF Bee you ordered is the best IMO, it's an excellent representation of Bumblebee. SS-49 has better paint apps (ROTF Bee is missing some on the grill), but ROTF Bee has a much better shade of yellow and Sam is a nice bonus.

I like the 76 Camaro Bee mold and I'd put it at second, but make sure if you get it that you get either SS-27 Clunker Bumblebee or the recent Buzzworthy SS-15, as those are the two versions that pin the windshield joint, which likes to pop off easily on the other versions.

WWII Bee is neat and I do like it, but it's not as good as the two above. Joints are kinda loose and the backpack is really big, but it has some great sculpting and one of the best Bumblebee head sculpts we've had in the deluxe class.

Not a big fan of VW Bee, it doesn't get anywhere near the proportions of this Bumblebee's design. Head sculpt isn't great, the gun is way undersized, and while I do like that there's a lot of accessories I think you'd want to go for either Offroad Bee or B-127 if you want a Bumblebee from that movie.

I don't have Offroad Bumblebee, but I'd really like to get it. I don't think it's really available anymore though, unfortunately.

@Rodimus Prime, I can promise you that SS Starscream is really solid. He is not flimsy. He's got a lot to him and he's great. Get him.

I am still holding out hope for a Commander Infernocus, or a voyager and deluxe Infernocus molds so you can buy 1 voyager and 4 deluxes to make the combiner. He is a monstrous brute, I really want one proper. i still want the TLK Crew finished.

Dragonstorm, if I could, I would take 4 or 6 deluxes or voyagers combining to make a Dragon, then an exclusive grouping so you can essentially get all 12 knights, either 2 x 6 or 2 x 4 with the OG Dragonstorm, Skullitron, and Steelbane from TLK

Yeah I think i will. He looked good in hand, the paint apps looked really sharp. I just had the apprehension about the wings. I'm also not a big fan of the alt mode, but he'll be in bot mode 95% of the time anyway.

They did Devastator the right way, I'm sure they can do Infernocus the right way as well, if they give it the time and effort. But considering he's not a well-known character who wasn't even on screen that long, he might have to be a limited exclusive. As for The Crew, I'm definitely down for Onslaught, Mohawk and Berserker. The characters weren't done any justice, but they'd make great figures. Leaders for Onslaught and Berserker, deluxe for Mohawk.

Crew wise, I was thinking deluxe Dreadbot reshelled from Crowbar (we already have Berserker), and then a leader Onslaught that has a legends sized Mohawk with him for a 2-for package, much like i want a deluxe or voyager Twin pack

Oh I thought Berserker was in TLK...? I need to watch the Wahlberg movies again. I don't think the size disparity was so big between Onslaught and Mohawk. He'd be too small at legends size IMO. And the Twins, they better get the Ice cream truck version 1st.

He was briefly. The Crew was:

Megatron
Nitro Zeus
Barricade
Dreadbot
Onslaught
Mohawk

Mohawk is pretty little, he is Arcee sister sized. Onslaught was a bit chunky Long Haul re-use, but with all new kibble for the tow truck mode. I really need him as a toy, he is the only one without a sort of fill in toy honestly

I agree. Worst movie in TF History that also spawned some of the coolest designs!

Even though I already have an amazing Third Party TLK Megatron, I'd really wish for a new Leader mold and a official MPM.

One of the credible leakers (specifically the one who called Shattered Glass, a handful of the exclusives we now have listings for from Amazon Australia a bit ago, and Pulse carrying small stocks of store exclusives) says Sideways is coming as a Dino retool, which is also just further credibility that he's coming at all. Considering the only Deluxe of Dino that existed before SS was a Sideways retool, there's an amusing irony to this.

Does Dino actually slightly resemble an Audi R8 by any chance?

I'd say yes, especially if they aren't going for a licensed car. The overall profile is fairly close. The grill is the main item that would need a re-tool and is the same plastic color as the head, so that is good news. The back of the car could also use some re-tooling if they really want to get accurate, but creative paintwork could also be an option there. Or they could simply ignore the back of the car and say good enough.

I'm done transforming Dino from bot to car. and MAN, is he fiddly! Well, more hard to figure out without instructions than anything else. That transformation is a bit crazy with some very creative ways to compress the car shell. Because yes, he's 90% shellformer. And it's understandable for baybots.

Due to the panel lines and the colors miss-match, it's really not a pretty vehicle. But the bot do rock and the transformation was a welcome fresh experience. ;)^

Weapon: Vibro-Axe
After 10 years of waiting I finally have a deluxe Dino in hand, and I am blown away by him. His car mode, while not fully accurate does still look really cool. His robot mode and transformation are were this guy shines. The transformation is incredible and almost feels to mass shift to hide most of the car mode in the body. Doing this does remove the possibility of a waist joint, but I think that it was worth it. Now in robot mode, oh my he is glorious. He is all but perfect except he could use some more joints in the ankles. I love how he can cross his arms and do the "He's not talking to anybody today". I do also wish that he had his claw whips, but I assume DNA is already designing a kit for him. Overall, I am very happy and he was defiantly worth the wait.

Oh, I also got the B-127 BB. It is a bad figure, but I expected that after BB Cliffjumper. He has all the same problems as CJ including clear plastic everywhere and panels not holding together in both modes. I can not recommend him him one bit and I only got him because collecting reasons.

I agree. Worst movie in TF History that also spawned some of the coolest designs!

I don't want to OT this thread too much, but that sounds all too familiar. With the 90's Godzilla films (or Heisei era as the fans call it). The objectively best New Kaiju (Battra, Space Godzilla, Destoroyah) were in the objectively weakest films of that era...go figure...

Onslaught
Mohawk

Mohawk is pretty little, he is Arcee sister sized. Onslaught was a bit chunky Long Haul re-use, but with all new kibble for the tow truck mode. I really need him as a toy, he is the only one without a sort of fill in toy honestly

I use the previous non combining Long Haul as a full in.

I am just curious because I am not a hardcore SS enthusiast. When it comes to TLK, since the main 2017 TLK toyline was basically a precursor to SS, would you all prefer to see all of TLK toys re-released in slightly different colors( such as Cogman) in SS. Or do you consider them ok as is, and want the SS to focus on characters that didn't get toys previously?(WWII BB, WWII Hotrod, Drift with Baby Dinobots)
