-We've already seen the wave breakdown of what comes with that Sideswipe, it's all repacks
-High Octane Bee is nowhere to be seen on the wave breakdowns we just got for next year
-This wouldn't be the first time Hasbro rereleased a non-SS Bee mold in SS as an exclusive only (SS25 was a TLK Bee only available in a 2-pack with a rusty VW Bee, also as a Target exclusive)
Are you sure we saw the wave breakown for the DotM Sideswipe? Entertainment Earth is my go-to for wave breakdowns and they don't have it up. They have the wave before and the first wave of next year, but not the one with Sideswipe. Man SS86 has really made a mess of trying to keep track of everything.

That release kinda crippled my hopes of proper new versions of some of the lesser-done Knight-aesthetic movies

I'm wondering just how different Hot Rod will be.

It would be a shame if the new Hot Rod just turned out to be a Lockdown retool, because even though Hot Rod's animation model in he movie had a lot of Lockdown in it and his last Deluxe figure was a Lockdown retool, I think he deserves an original mould.

He definitely deserves his own mold. That first one was fun, but not movie accurate. It suffered from being a Lockdown retool. I really hope he and Galvatron get proper good updates.

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!

Hot Rod's design is unique and cool enough to deserve his own original mold.

I agree, it's a really cool design. Excited to see how the new figure looks!

I have both and really like the mold. I like Grindor slightly more just due to the hands, but honestly it was a really good mold to begin with, so it isn't like the hands are necessary to fully enjoy it or anything. If you are only in it for 1 or the other, go Grindor unless you have a particular attachment to Balckout's character or deco (or lil Scorponok vs lil Ravage).
Rodimus Prime wrote:I saw Jolt in store and passed. He looks really good in those pics, maybe I should have gotten him. Since he was such a minor character with miniscule screen time (as were Dino and Payload) I didn't think my collection would miss him.

LinaNui wrote:So I just saw some ROTB set pictures with Scourge and the orange tow truck. These are really getting me hyped for hopefully a SS type line with figures of them. Since the rumors for 2022 of SS don't seem to have any ROTB figures, I am hoping they get there own line.
