One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!
william-james88 wrote:well that confirms Megatron's feet being far from screen accurate.
Emerje wrote:Aside from the inside panels being a little big what isn't screen accurate about the feet? Even in the cross image it looks pretty accurate, miles better than Blackout's feet.

The SS toy has the center of the bumper turn right-side-up, but the rest of the bumper still curves downward when it all curves upward on both the movie CG model and the previous Movie Jazz Deluxe toy.
william-james88 wrote:I could circle the exact same part in my argument to say just how dissimilar it is. In reality, its just the tank kibble from the front (see below) stuck on somewhere in robot mode.Any similarity is more coincidence than anything else.

The other 3 look amazingballs though.
What disappoints you about Grimlock?
First and foremost, I hate the (lack of) characterization and design the most out of all movie verse characters. So I'm biased.
Second, I found it to be a rather simple figure for a leader class. Plus, the extremely loose and floppy but and crotch flaps in dino mode were a huge letdown. The figure looks really good though, bad design or not, he looks like he stepped right off the screen.

And there is some yellow on Slug as well though its not as obvious. Grimlock's green is exactly like the toy, it looks great.
Oh and that clip comes with the iconic lines we expect our nobleand heroic Optimus to say, like "I KILL YOU!"
Don't forget the ever righteous sword-to-throat line of "Defend my family... or die!"william-james88 wrote:Oh and that clip comes with the iconic lines we expect our nobleand heroic Optimus to say, like "I KILL YOU!"![]()

Black Hat wrote:Slightly off topic, but in a universe where the Decepticons are actually killing people and posing a very real threat (as opposed to, say, building giant purple griffins and getting defeated by a fire extinguisher) and the humans that Optimus gives his all to protect instead start butchering his closest friends, I think his righteous anger is rather justified.
Sabrblade wrote:Optimus was basically yelling at a machine, as though yelling at it would have made a difference.
Sabrblade wrote:...It was the Autobot Grimlock whom Optimus held his sword at throat and threatened with murder.
And the "I'll kill you!" line was yelled at a mindless KSI robot that had no concept of life, death, or opinions on either. Optimus was basically yelling at a machine, as though yelling at it would have made a difference.
