This thing screams impactor, I don't even know him, aside from the foc version, and the first thing I thought, was - hey, it's that guy from the wreckers with a drill hand or whatever - so, technically you're wrong, it does suit him, it's just not the design you wanted

Any chance at all about two-colour pegs?
I wish. But the 7th figure for next year is gonna be a Deluxe.ausbot wrote:I hope the mystery figure that comes with Impactor is that wily old buzzard Xaaron from the Legends Megatron.

Yeah, but, who isn't expecting that one to be Nightracer from Tailgate?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I wish. But the 7th figure for next year is gonna be a Deluxe.ausbot wrote:I hope the mystery figure that comes with Impactor is that wily old buzzard Xaaron from the Legends Megatron.
This year's Mystery Figure is supposed to be Legends however.

I'm wishing for Xaaron from Megs, but Nightracer's look in "A Common Foe" (the comic that advertised the TFSS 3.0 figures) being based on Tailgate is (sadly) a strong indicator of what the 7th figure might be.durroth wrote:the people who are expecting Emirate Xaaron from Megatron. When Hasbro sends over the mold lay-out, I'm sure a little more creativity will go into the color placement.
Also a personal preference, but I prefer to push that peg back into the chest another click or two on the ratchet joint. This hides the shape of the peg and provides an even more Impactor-shaped chest.
Giza wouldn't cover Rook's fist. The peg that Nemesis Prime holds Giza with while having his hand covered goes down rather than out. There is, however, another peg on Giza that goes outward towards the back that could be fitted into Rook's knuckle hole, but as this peg is on the outside of Giza instead of inside, it wouldn't cover Rook's fist.Easy Tiger wrote:As for existing weapons that would work, have you considered the Arms Micron Giza (the jagged sword that comes with Nemesis Prime)? The peg allows it to point outwards, looks pretty harpoon-like, and has the advantage that it hides the hand.
I don't have the guy to test the fit with the Rook mold, but if anyone can confirm the fit, I think you could do worse!

Yeah, unfortunately the peg and hand cover for Giza just refuses to cooperate in a way that it would actually cover Impactor's hand and not cast the "harpoon" blade off at a weird angle. When you almost get it to work with the hand cover on top of the forearm, it pops Giza's peg piece out of place.
