That and they're probably still making a bunch of the CG of the Transformers themselves. Even the shots in this trailer using them probably weren't "final".OptimalOptimus2 wrote:destrakon wrote:it wouldve been cool if they showed a little more action
I am pretty sure there will be more trailers in the future. You know how the final Transformers movie trailers are, we just have to be patient.
By the way, it is a nice trailer.I just only wonder what that Unicron-like ball of metal doing over the moon.

What if that's the VW van Decepticon we've seen around filming?
We should still get a Super Bowl spot in a couple of months, as well as 1 more trailer after that, probably in March in front of Logan or in April or May in front of Fast 8. In the meantime, since it's been a 4-5 pages...Cyber Bishop wrote:As a transfan for well over 30 years I am still not feeling it after this first trailer.. Maybe the next one will do it for me.

Rodimus Prime wrote:You guys seriously think Prime is going to kill Bee? Really? Especially with Bee getting his own movie in 2018?
That planet in pieces does look like Cybertron's remains. I would like to see Unicron, but only if it's done right.
If that is indeed Megatron in the desert, he looks bad ass. Maybe we will finally get a character worthy of the name.
I'm glad Anthony Hopkins plays an actual person and not just voices a TF, even though that would be cool as well.
To me the biggest thing in the trailer was Hopkins saying "100 billion trillion planets in the universe. Why do you think they keep coming here?" In the 1st film it was to chase the Allspark, in DoTM it was to revitalize Cybertron. What will it be this time?

But it's a three-headed dragon, not two.Black Hat wrote:Holy crap, this looks amazing. Consider me on board.
Also, am I the only one getting Gigatron vibes from that two-headed dragon Transformer? I'm hoping so, if only to get the original RID Megatron toy reissued but retooled with movieverse techno-greebles.

my only hope is there seems to be some genuine talant on the writing front so theres a SLIM chance it wont be a total bay wankfest.

Is there though?
Akiva Goldsman wrote Batman and Robin. Is that movie better than the worst stuff Ehran Krueger wrote?
