Barricade is interesting, his CG isn't nearly as solid as the art we've seen before. Can certainly see a few more elements from his previous design in this one. Looks like the whole protect and serve thing on the toy package art was just an attempt to sanitize it while the movie retains punish and enslave on the knuckles.

Ah ok sorry if my first comment was rude.
The other cons names (no one else is there) Rusty Vw van is Hooligan, Green tow truck is Onslaught the long haul looking guy and Nitro is the Shockwave looking character.
I'm pretty sure that the last time Transformer site staff were on set their names were confirmed from behind the scenes.
Edit: Just remembered that Hooligan and Mohawk were names first came from the rumors that confirmed Squeeks, Cogman and Megatron's jet mode all which were confirmed later on.

Darwin.
Just like the evolution guy. And whoever came up with some of these names should probably be nominated for his namesake awards.
Kurona wrote:That was one of the things I liked about the first film; a nice, distinct team of Decepticons - with all but of course Megs and Screamer being completely original. Sure they didn't have much in the way of personality - aside from Bonecrusher being a SCREAMING PSYCHO - but they all had their own cool appearance and were in some way memorable.
Also the bike's a 'con? Huh. Thought it was Sqweeks

Good or bad?

Personally, I really like all his moving parts and stuff (Cogman) plus those fancy swirly inlays on his chest. Super steampunk. I can get behind that.
What I hate is this random growing trend of the scuba mask-face. That circle thing that everyone has for a mouth now seemingly. Bumblebee started it, and it looked fine there because he had definition in his eyes, but then Hot Rod got it, and now Cogman. It makes them look like clones of Bumblebee (Ironically they look more like clones of bumblebee than the actual clones of Bumblebee from AOE) with really beady eyes. Would it kill them to give the characters face plates? I'd even prefer mouths over this.
