I have a feeling that Dragonstorm will be fighting purple eyed evil Prime but will help him once he turns back normal because I doubt Prime stays evil through the whole movie.

As someone who went to the imax event no you have not seen every scene not even close to it.

Agreed. I was also at the event, and while it was about 30 mins of footage we got to see (a lot of which you don't see in this trailer) I'm sure there's quite a few surprises to happen in this film. I, for one, want to know what happens with Galvatron, and whether it's explained how he becomes Megatron again.

Much as I'm usually pessimistic on this, it does seem like they care a little more about the story and continuity this time round; especially with the whole Cybertronian Spaceship from DOTM being scraped off the moon. That's a nice nod. So... yeah, maybe we will actually get an explanation.

Explanation equals Galvatron changed his name back to Megatron and maybe used his Transformium stuff to change his robot and vehicle modes since it is programmable matter and it was his knowledge of it he gave to KSI in the first place so presumably Megatron has some idea on how it works or he gets some sort of Knight upgrade like Prime.

Or Galvatron is just a clone who is probably killed in the beginning of the film ala Demolishor and Sideways in ROTf while the still existing Megatron head is somehow rebuilt by someone or something.

I'm sure they thought of something and if not the name thing is easy to explain as just a simple name change.

It's not complicated at all people change their names in real life too and sometimes switch back I mean plenty of Authors and Actors do that.

When Canopy falls down we now see green stuff spilling from his mouth, yeesh Canopy, picking your nose is bad enough but this?

I'm so excited for this movie, I feel like it has a certain something to it that's just making me excited. It's interesting to see Quintessa (It's Quintessa, right?) for the first time. It really does seem like she's convinced Optimus that this needs to be done, though I still am skeptical. If Quintessa just convinced Optimus that Earth needed to be destroyed, why would his eyes turn purple? Unless she filled him up with dark energon to start wrecking some fools, why would his eyes be purple while not being under any sort of mind control? Manipulation, maybe, but manipulation/ a change of heart doesn't change robot optic color... does it? Also, when it zooms in on his eyes, I see it as they're twitching, like he's trying to fight whatever it is that's turning them purple.

It just looks so underwhelming. A lot of scenes and shots of transformers reused. More boring human stuff save Hopkins. When aoe went in the right direction giving the bots time and character along with a villain who genuinely seemed like a presence it just reverts back to 1-3 levels in my mind of more human crap than bots. The evil optimus angle has never and will never interest me.

It's a pity the movie isn't told as if Hopkins character is speaking to a friend or family member as that would've been a strong movie with expendable humans and the transformers at the front. Also hot rod having a french accent is just bad. Really underwhelmed and the thoughts of 14 more of these make me disappointed.

Honestly though? It doesn't seem terribly unlikely. Considering how much money each movie rakes in it's hard to envision them eventually stopping, especially when a seventh movie is confirmed. Not many movie series run for that long.

You do know that Bay is not directing the next movie right? Travis Knight is the next director.

The facts (Yes facts because I for one do my research and pay attention to all the news and interviews so I know what I'm talking about) are that 14 different scripts were made and one of them became TLK and it's more likely that a few scripts were combiner together.

It's impossible for there to be 14 different Transformers sequels not in the current schedule the movies are in right now heck Marvel films are starting to lose a little bit of steam now that Marvel films are just the normal thing that happens multiple times a year.

Michael Bay has posted a picture of himself and actor, John Turturro on Instagram. John Turturro has played the role of Seymour Simmons in previous live action Transformers films.

This past week Michael Bay has been working with John Turturro on the latest film. Transformers: The Last Knight is most likely on the post-production stage at this time. Meaning that there could be some scenes that need to be filmed again and others that might need to be altered for the final piece.

I think Optimus might be controlling Unicron from the inside, and that's how he gets back to Earth. I keep thinking that scene with Quintessa and Optimus takes place inside of Unicron, and those chains can be used to steer him. Or whatever that Unicron-like planet-eating planet is.

I figured Botanica looked like the Quintessons. But, I can see the resemblance.

One thing that I am concerned about in this movie is how Megatron is involved in all of this, since, in my opinion, he hasn't been very significant in the franchise.

I'm really starting to wonder if Megatron is going to be a villain per se in this movie, he's fighting Optimus, but why? Doesn't Megatron fight to save Cybertron too? Why is he not pleased with the fact that Optimus is essentially on his side now? To hell with the humans, save your people, isn't that what their common goal is now? Why would he want to stop Optimus from doing that? I feel like it has to be more than just time-honored tradition for them to fight in this case. And yes, there's the scene with him the girl and the Decepticons, but that scene seems like it takes place near the beginning of the movie, so maybe we'll actually see him change his views? And the whole "rethink your heroes" tagline...

Has it been discussed how Megatron even exists in this movie while Galvatron is roaming around since the end of AOE? And he was formatted using the leftover head of Megatron from the previous trilogy? Is this one of those comic book scenarios where both Galvatron and Megatron exist in the same universe?
