Seeing how short-lived the last movie line was, we could be looking at another such short-lived movie line.cruizerdave wrote:Oh crap. We're headed into another Bayformers movie year.
Wake me when it's over.
Thanks!

Looking a little yellow, actually.
But you're right, not only do these figures not share the same parts, I'm positive they aren't even the same size. The previous Bees were Leaders, but I think the new Bee might be closer to the size of normal MP cars, closer to Voyager size.
Why? Well let's compare things that both the pics of SS Optimus Prime and MP Bumblebee have in common.
Check out the pedestal and how much of it he takes up, robot alone. Also take note of the blue name placard below him and how small it looks compared to Prime.
Now look at the same pedestal under Bee and how there's enough space for both the bot and car to fit easily. Also look at how big that blue placard now looks next to Bee. Plus the price is in line with Hasbro's other MP car releases.
I'll be looking forward to seeing how Takara Tomy prices him and can't wait to pair him with their repaint of DotM Leader Optimus Prime.

Insurgent wrote:Is human alliance bee not in mp scale? He'd be cheaper if it's just scale you're after.
Emerje wrote:I want scale and accuracy. The HA figure is a nice toy, but the interactive parts really turned me off to them.
Also I bet I can get the Takara Tomy version for much less than Hasbro's just like the rest of the MP cars.

The price was revealed: $80 USD MSRP
