I guess it's possible that Siren and Nightbeat need to be Voyagers to allow for them to be functional Headmasters at the same scale as the others (Rather than Headmasters Jnrs) However they could amp the price up on Deluxes and make the previous Headmaster Jnrs as smaller than the other Headmasters - but perhaps they just want them all to be the same size this time.

There seems some remould potential in some of those too - and heck who knows perhaps Siren and Nightbeat might be based on the same mould.

As for Scourge they might make him a Deluxe simply as there is already a Targetmaster Deluxe Cyclonus - and they wanted to make one more shoe shaped that shared the gimic with the old one.

Heck for all I know they might just straight reissue the old Scourge and give him a Targetmaster - But if Blurr and Hotrod are to get new Moulds then it seems sensible he would too.

It would be a shame though as a Deluxe "Sweep" with Combiner Wars abilities would have been right up a lot of people's street. There might be a lot of people complaining about a toy they otherwise would be fine with being a Targetmasters &'86 Movie Homage.

I suppose you could speculate that a Deluxe could be a Targetmaster *or simply another kind of lime and Combiner limb at the same time if it's a simple repaint/ minor remould - for example Brawl into Quake, First Aid into Crankcase or Rook into Groundpounder at Least Galvatronus would get some appropriate limbs of some sort or other then.

Ok we need a voyager Galvatron to go with Cyclonus. I know everyone already knows this, but I say it's gotta happen. (Maybe the fiction with "Galvatronus" is that Galvatron died, and now he haunts his bodygaurd: Cyclonus. Makes sense to me.) We also need deluxe Sweep, so I can buy 4 and combine them with haunted Cyclonus.

A Leader Galvatron would be so much better. He deserves it.

I'm not a fan of what we're seeing with this Blaster, but it's cool a lot of people are.
I know CW has brought a ton of repaints, but I have loved that line and can't wait for the Combaticons.

Initially it's a little frustrating thinking that I may skip another entire line.
But it also makes getting a TT Bruticus set more realistic.
Not to mention, when Predaking, or any other Decepticon combiners are released, I won't have to hesitate.

I agree that Galvatron deserves a Leader class figure, but at this point, I'd be really happy with a solid Voyager version. Waaaay past due.

I'd rather have the limbs be Skywarp, Bombshell, Life Spark, and the one that's backwards from the others, Snow Cat.

If you want some Rumours then the previous ones said Galvatron is a Leader Class that is a cross between G1 & IDW forms of the Character.

Also Did Hasbro staff when asked at Botcon and later say that they had no intention of making any Beast Mode Combiner Wars toys.

They didn't rule out a Titan Class Combiner (Like Devastator) though I notice.

Unfortunately unless they continue Combiner Wars as some sort of Store Exclusive or respond to demand with a parallel product line It looks like the Line is more or less done with and will quite possibly be completely replaced by Titan Wars Deluxes sometime after 2nd quarter 2016.

It seems that what they might be doing is sort of going back to what Generations was before Combiner Wars only with the addition of some add ons and possibly a Higher Price point.

So I would caution people be prepared another Price Hike is not unlikely for Deluxes next year
(by that I mean Normal Price not TRU inflated Prices).
I will justify that as a concern by the "Rumour" comments that next Years Deluxes are bigger and may come with more accessories and perhaps better paint too.

Also TRU just put their USA Deluxe Price up too. And the Oil Price just spiked up a few weeks back to.

I hope if they do abandon the Combiner Wars Theme they are least find some way to fill some gaps in as a flanker Brand or in boxed sets of some sort.
It would be a shame to not get a Combiner Wars Sideswipe simply due to fears of confusion with the warrior class one (especially when what may be a Sideswipe Head seems to be shown in Sunstreaker's designer desk feature).

I welcome Titan Wars but that doesn't mean I'm not still going to be hankering for some appropriate limbs for Scattershot & Cyclonus too.

Cyclonus is the same size as Galvatron, it makes more sense.

Well we know that sure isnt the case since AOE Grimlock toys and RID Grimlock toys were on the same shelves.

Also, these podcast rumours smell really fishy to me. I like them all, but none of them include Fort Max nor explain that Astrotrain/Optimus looking thing. And we know both of those will exist.

AOE Grimlock was Copper coloured when he's actually Slightly green in the Movie - it is amusing to note that perhaps the new Stomp & Chomp RID-15 one therefore might be more Movie screen accurate.

The only Grimlocks they had in the same size class at the same time would be the Legion I would expect as there isn't a Deluxe AOE Grimlock and there isn't a Voyager Grimlock in RID - they also made sure to pack them in Robot mode a lot of the time and they look a lot less alike in robot mode than in Trex mode I'd say.

Hasbro has said before that they won't release the same character in the same colour in the same size in two distinct lines at the same time if they can help avoid doing so (to prevent potential consumer confusion).

Since the Red RID Sideswipe is sort of rotated out of stores now and the only red one about as much is the 3 Step a few left over legions and the TRU repaint. I would hope there is a small window of opportunity around now to Middle 2016 to repaint Combiner Wars Sunstreaker with a new head as Sideswipe in some way.

IF HOWEVER they reset the RID line in some way in middle 2016 then the problem of an RID Warrior class Sideswipe getting in the way will thus return if that one is red too - if RID is killed off early then the window opens up again. if no such window exists then I will have to hope for some Giftsets I guess.

I would suggest it could be reasoned that the reason the Autobot we Got is Sunstreaker isn't because he was in a comic - but because the yellow car doesn't trip over the RID Sideswipe.

I have heard Fort Max rumours but they pre-date that TFW Podcast thread. If I recall all they said was something about the tracks use in vehicle mode the other alt mode additions and a few words about the Master mini-figure related accessories (much of which is visible in the earlier diagram anyway).

bare in mind the same sources spoke of Blaster and how he worked then released a picture of him.. so some of it may be quite legit. (it's to early to say all of it is).

But if you were going to reference Headmasters now is as good a time as any when there is no Movie to get in the way.

1. There will be a Titan Wars Alpha Trion toy. Size class unknown. It seems to have beast mode kibble on it. Possibly a triple changer with beast and ship alt modes.
2. Upcoming Headmasters will include Brainstorm (may or may not be a reuse of the Voyager Generations mold), Chromedome, Hardhead, Highbrow, Nightbeat, Siren, Horribull and Skullcruncher.
3. Upcoming Deluxe 1986 movie accurate figures will include Scourge and Blurr.

I won't be surprised if these turn out to be your typical made-up Internet "rumours", but I'll admit I do like the sound of a triple-changing Alpha Trion and a Headmaster Sentinel based on the War for Cybertron design.

I'm with D-Max, no Headmaster Galvatron, or ANY characters that have not been a Headmaster in prior fiction.
That being said they'll probably make him a Headmaster in the comics to justify the toy, even though the notion of one of the toughest 'Cons becoming a Headmaster after 30 odd years is just wrong.

Given how looney the anime version of his was, a HM Galvatron is not surprising. Maybe a Brainmaster would fit him nicely.as in the brain always separate from the body running amuck

I really doubt the comics would do that. Galvatron destroyed all the ancient headmasters, and hates them with a burning desire. If anything he would kill them

I take it that by WFC Sentinel Prime they actually mean "Zeta Prime" - that would be odd to be called SP and modelled on ZP even if some people seem to try to imply they are the Videogame/s is/are vague about that at best.

Frankly I'd be expecting him to simply be a Hardhead remould rather than be deserving of a new mould.

I agree It makes no sense at all for a Cybertronian centred Character like Galvatron to be into binary Bonding at all - "Unless" the Headmasters in Titan Wars are inorganic then I can I suppose take it at a stretch (mainly due to Armada) But if they are armoured Fleshlings it would be very out of Character for him.

Oh and just to elaborate on my Combiner Wars Autobot fixation - I suppose the reason I am so keen to have a CW Sideswipe is 1) as it's always nice to have both brothers and 2) because Sideswipe was one of the limbs on the fake Menasor / Masquerade.
I suppose Jazz is out of the question for the time being for the same reasons... but I'm not sure if any of the existing CW bodies suit him anyway. I'd like to hold off on Jazz being derived from Wheeljack not just due to the colour similarities but because perhaps Jacky might work better as Tracks if it ever comes to that.
