Please, it looks much nicer, and doesn't have a backpack for days. Despite (again) being a deluxe, it manages to tackle the shape and style of hotrod while dealing with the kibble in bot mode, so - in my opinion - it is more successful, and certainly more desirable - for me personally - than that MP any day of the week, I like the Animated throwbacks in the car mode, very nice.
Most likely gonna get him, and possibly any remold they make of him (hoping for a )
I dunno, this Hot Rod looks like he might have a bit of a backpack, too.
Besides, the MP has an ab crunch. An ab crunch! What MP has that!?
My Lego-formers can ab-crunch, it's not difficult and it's hardly this figures fault that TT (a different company) didn't engineer they're figures with ab-crunch besides, not many MPs' transformations could allow for an ab-crunch, and hotrod doesn't really look good doing it either, so there's thatI don't know if you've ever handled MP Hot Rod in hand, but he is definitely up there as one of the best MP cars, IMHO. Just packed with extras, transformation is great, and he's Hot Rod to a T.
I don't really like G1, so I don't have any MP's (would like MP Soundwayne though); but, it's strictly about how it handles itself as a tf, tr hotrod handles itself well, whereas mp hotrod crams it into a backpack - plus, tr hotrod'll only be $15
... wait, if you don't like G1, why are you following TR and Generations in general...? Not saying there's anything wrong with that, just curious since it is G1-based
