Awesome. Watching ScottyP and Rotorstorm play with their Blurrs on the last Twincast recordings really made me want the Hasbro Blurr.

Need more Titans Return figures... Blurr, Scourge, and Rewind are great but it isn't enough! I might just have to order the rest online soon. I really want to get my hands on the Titanmaster packs. Not to mention ghetto blasting Blaster and Max. I was going to pass on Blaster but that's just too cool.

Has anyone heard anything more about that Voyager TR Megatron that was posted about a couple months ago? I'm guessing it's part of next year's offerings, but we do have TF5 on the horizon there.

There will be both movie toys and generations toys the same year, like last time. And the next TF reveals will be at SDCC, next week. They will probably show Megatron then and if not, it will have to wait till NYCC in the fall.

The Voyager Megsy looks to be Wave 3; so I'd say January of next year or December of this.

Makes sense then that it would be Wave 3. Hoping that SDCC reveals some test images of it soon beyond the conceptual stage we already got then. Sadly I'm running out of room in my shrine.

The image with the Deluxes says W1 S'17 (Wave 1 Spring 2017), and the two Voyagers are in the same batch. So you'd be right on the money with that guess.

So I opened the (surprisingly light) box!! Pretty cool looking figure. Lots of "I see what you did there" and stuff. Easy transformation. I did notice then how light the plastic was in areas and I really don't think the tabs will hold up over time. There's no was they can. My other issue is the joints seem loose/weak. He has a constant lean either back or forwards, and his A-frame stance always has one leg clicked out further than the other.

However, if your main complaints are plastic quality, and (mis-assembled) ratchets; there's no guarantee that Takara's will be any better there. I'm still curious if the only modifications to the takara's version won't just be having the "power"master plug into the chest (and they carve that out).

I do find his base mode lacking compared to Blaster. But, disregarding nostalgia, the original PM's base mode wasn't *that* different from the current iteration. I do wish the cab completely detateched (which I guess you could do with a screw driver). Pulling the "back" up would enclose it closer in form to the G1 PM.

Thanks! As I told shajaki, it was more my "thoughts". As far as joints go, I think Takara can fix it. And I mentioned in my thread (I think) that it'll probably be a darker red plastic and of COURSE they'll have the better paint apps.

I haven't snapped pics of base mode yet, but I probably will tomorrow. I just didn't feel like fiddling with all of the bots I had out at the time.

What I'm probably most disappointed in is the legs. You know how the feet have those angles formed into them on the bottom (for the A-frame stance)? He can't stand on both of them. One will be proper and the other won't due to the him not missing leg day, ever (re: calve sections are HUGE). I don't think they were that bad on Ultra Magnus.

To be honest, I'm still on the fence to return him or not. Need to check the options for Takara Legends I suppose.

Takara's is an intense retool so there might be hope for your problems to be fixed yet. It's also not fully revealed quite yet.
