Preceptor would be cool as a leader with a science station city mode.
Just thoughts. Typed out loud.
Leak says deluxe for both. For such a 1987-centric line we're getting a lot of 1985 dudes...

If not that then Blurr and Brainstorm would make a decent Classics-style updated Fastlane and Cloudraker.Emerje wrote:SureShot18 wrote:Emerje wrote:I feel like Hasbro is just going to pull a cop-out and repaint Highbrow for Topspin just because the mold has propellers that, well, spin on top.
But I think ideally they'd modify the Brainstorm mold with a new forked front and wings.

I really think there's a good chance he'll get a new mold. Although he isn't even rumored yet, they could easily retool him into Twintwist. Boom you got your two mold uses.
At first I was going to say that wouldn't work nearly as well as it did in the '80s, but something just occurred to me. Supposedly we're supposed to get Pounce and Wingspan in this line so what if Top Spin and Twin Twist are pre-re-molds of Fastlane and Cloudraker? It would take a lot of tweaking to make that actually work, but Hasbro and Takara Tomy have apparently learned magic to make this line so anything is possible.

I think plethora is being a bit overly dramatic. Tighten up the hip and thigh joints with some scotch tape or squares of a napkin. Takes 45 seconds. Figure is now outstanding.

Perhaps, but I've heard a lot of people saying the pins are loose, ya can't fix those, and that the soft plastic covering is derformable... gotta wonder if TT are going with a solid trans plastic for that part on theirs, it might be worth it just to be worry-free

Reports from people who have the takara one in-hand say it's the same plastic.
