yeah but people were saying they wanted him and havent seen him anywhere, so this was more of a reminder. its retail price so anyone willing to pay the retail price could get him right now with amazon.

This Leader class Soundwave is a pass (the cassettes to). FOC's Voyager version is still my go to Soundwave with Classics G1 reissue as my second.

The OP that turns into a flying Pringle's can is a pass but I'm still hopeful for Octane and the Takara version of the new Meg's is a possibility "IF" his paint job is more G1 accurate and no cheap @ss stickers. Blitzwing isn't that much of a priority since the Thrilling 30's version still fits the bill.

I'll just throw out my wild Power of the Primes prediction:

13 Primes? Maybe. But I'm half-expecting some kind of updated Cyber-Key functionality where you can plug a Matrix into different characters and Matrix "upgrades" for more characters.

Bumblebee had a couple of later identities alluded to in Devastation. Maybe he gets the "Matrix of Speed" and becomes Race Welder.

Rodimus could be up for a new Rodimus Prime.

But my guess is that the new gimmick is that a ton of other Matrices are discovered and almost everybody gets a Matrix and becomes a Prime.

I think I saw Soundwave last time I was at Target but I can't be sure. If he's still there next time I'll snap a picture. Speaking of which, Target is actually becoming reliable again for Generations with TR(after sitting on Wave 4 of CW for several months). As far as I know it's the only place around here that stocks every mainline class.

Many of us are fairly certain Takara will not be releasing Blitzwing as Megatron just like they did not release Astrotrain as Sentinel Prime. Some of us are completely certain Takara will not be releasing Blitzwing as Megatron. Takara just doesn't do that. They don't need to because they don't have standard pricing like Hasbro does so they don't need to release multiple versions of the same mold. Your best bet will be Reprolabels releasing a sticker set to correct Hasbro's sticker issues.

He's due out in January, 2017 according to BBTS. I pre-ordered early for like $45.99 as opposed to the 54.99 they currently have him for. The Triple changers are the initial reason for these molds. OP, Meg's and Sentinel are clearly pre-molds released early to get more bang for their (HasTak) buck.

Hi, new face around here posting for the first time! Went to check a Big W (an Australian department store chain) in my area - Port Macquarie, about 600 miles from the previous sighting - and found the Wave 3 Deluxes sitting there all deliciously! Nabbed Hot Rod, Triggerhappy and Twinferno, though I'm holding myself back 'til Christmas on opening them. Hopefully they'll be all the sweeter for the wait - and I hope they start turning up in less-remote areas soon too, for everyone else's sake!

It sound like I misunderstood which bots he saying aren't going to be released but who says they're not releasing a Transformers Legends Sentinel Prime eventually? Takara releases more repaints than you both a willing to give them credit for (especially with Voyager class). 1 new mold out of 4 Deluxe "United Warriors" per wave does not win that argument. Takara to me is known for correcting Hasbro's cheap shortcuts when they make their versions. They don't ignore them completely. Which is why I'm sure they'll eventually make Prime and Meg's at least.

But as far as Megatron goes. Henkei Megatron is still my go to Megatron

What we're saying is that TakaraTomy seems to have a certain aversion for re-releasing molds within the same line. There are exceptions if the character is iconic or desirable enough (Blaster vs. Soundwave), but overall, one release per mold seems to be the initial norm.

Megatron and Optimus Prime already have a representation or look-a-like in the line (Galvatron's Headmaster, Super Ginrai), so those uses are easily skipped for main retail. Exclusives are a different story, however Infinitus is seeing use in other figures (Convobat, Leo Prime), rendering the chance of a proper Japanese Sentinel Prime relatively slim.

And Unite Warriors is the extremely strange exception to the rule. That isn't how they usually do things, and how they usually do things is being reflected in their takes on TR right now.
I'm just surprised that of all the new-head-retools they could have gone for, they didn't go for Crosscut


In any case, you're totally right; there's nothing to say they won't do Megatron and Sentinel in the future. But we've also got to consider that that isn't particularly likely and it isn't something you should rely on. Right now it's looking like Hasbro megs with repros is as good as it gets.

Nice finds, dude! I'm hoping to find Wave 3 here in the US myself. Hopefully the store near me has Wave 3. Let me know what you think of Triggerhappy and Twinferno.

ok so as of yesterday I have now officially seen in Stores every wave 2 item for TR except Soundwave...I see wave 3 Titan Masters and Deluxes are starting to pop up in some remote areas. With Wave 3 fully available for pre-order on most sites.

With only a few remaining items revealed though...This isn't really enough to make a 4th wave. Does anyone think there are more items to be revealed for more full waves, or does anyone think the remaining "known" items not associated with wave 3:

Titan Masters(Repugnus, Shuffler)
Legends (*none*)
Deluxe (Perceptor)
Voyager (Broadsides)
Leader (Sky Shadow)
Titan (Trypticon)

Not really enough for a 4th wave. Anyone think these will be tail enders? or is there more to be revealed? I know the New York Toy Fair is usually not long after the first of the year...so I guess we shall see. If any other Titans Return figures have been confirmed I am forgetting, please let me know.

Well, we've had leaks for pretty much the entire line, which is expected to be about six waves like Combiner Wars before it, so obviously Hasbro just hasn't shown us everything what with wave 2 not being out until next Spring.

Yeah, of course Wave 4 is gonna be a lot more than that. Each wave has four titan masters, three legends, four deluxes, two voyagers and either one or two leaders (if there's one leader, a leader from a previous wave fills in the second spot; like Wave 2 having the new Soundwave in addition to Wave 1's PM OP).
Rumours currently say Wave 4 could have Kup, Topspin, a recolour of Skullsmasher as Krok and a recolour of Hardhead as Quake. Of course, that's five deluxes so we can assume one will be in a later wave. I forget the other classes, but the other Voyager of Wave 4 will likely be Blitzwing or Tankor/Octane.
