this is a terrible looking jet in cool black and gray with GIANT OPTIMUS PRIME written on the side of his jet.

Can't wait for this set. I'm probably selling Quickswitch but that jet mode looks nice.

Heh, yeah that Prime jet mode looks terrible. Fine in truck and robot mode.

No amount of paint can make this prime. Figure in jet mode look good

My set came with 2 heads for Quickswitch. 1 was lined up next to the other 3 TM'S in the plastic case and another was already inside QuickSwitches chest compartment in his helment while in car mode as well.

Did anyone else get 2 in their set?

I agree with you, I transformed mine into jet mode and immediately transformed him back to bot mode. yuck..

The blue is probably a cockpit or window.

I expect it's a reference to the hinged pannel on the original toy that is used as a sight in gun mode that looks rather like that - it's also pretty obvious if you look at Madlaw too

FYI : I found Sixshot at TRU yesterday. Start hunting. Don't know if this is news or not, but it's the first I've seen him outside of the 'net.

There is a version of that deco coming, its been confirmed. But it will be a Takara show exclusive. It will be easy to find and order but it wont be cheap, so get ready for that.

That's pretty odd, but nothing more than a goof-up. Could you show us some images of them?

I'll have to see what I can do this weekend and monday in terms of the set. Curiously, that seems to be the only way to get that Prime/Octone mold as I've yet to spot it. I did spot Megatron many times over.

Classic right there. And given how the boxsets are treating the Titan Masters, wouldn't it be funny if it was the little guy that suffered from it?

I kind of like the idea of a Primus Apothesis sufferer completely (conveniently?) disregarding all the good and noble aspects of Optimus and being all triggerhappy and murder-y and hence being like Movieverse Optimus

Since the boxset doesn't mention the Titan master being a separate character that could work but what Autobot scientist would give some crazy guy his own suit and one modeled on their idol?

Probably Brainstorm but alas we will never know unless Ask Vector Prime comes back and I nag them to make Laser Prime canon...always did want to leave my mark on the franchise preferably a background character named after me but hey that works too.

Man we totally need to have a completely murderous Autobot on one of the future tv shows someday movies are too short for this kind of character.

Well, the trope of 'overly violent rogue that eventually joins the main team and learns to turn it down a notch' has been used a few times in the franchise. Off the top of my head I'm pretty sure RiD 2001 Ultra Magnus and Armada Blurr fit that mold somewhat. And then there's some that never learned the lesson and were just flat out horrible; Marvel Flame and IDW Skyfall for instance.

I do like the idea, especially when you're attempting to show the two sides as not just ultimate good and ultimate evil. Throw in a bit of gray not just by making the Decepticons a bit more sympathetic, but also by making some Autobots genuinely bad and violent. I always thought the Monsterbots would work especially well for this...
