Oh, right. Duh. I haven't had a problem yet. You just have to have that rotating plate thing under his head and the pylons straight. They won't lock down if it's turned to the side.

Mine must be broken then, cause I've been doing it straight and the pylons won't even attempt to stay down in place

On a related note, how does one get the horns on Alpha Trion to stay down? Mine just... won't.

My A3 barley lock in, and Leo's won't at all. With A3 I have to use my finger nail or a small pokey thing to push them down past the top of the hole they come out of.

At least with mine, I need to squeeze the tops of the horns together when they are pushed down in so they will lock into place. now mind you the button is so damn sensitive that all I need to do is raise my voice and the horns pop back up. thankfully I display him with the horns and lion mode blocks then down, so it's only an issue with the spaceship mode, which is not used much.

I push the horns down then twist the neck and they seem to stay down

Push them down with a finger nail until they click. You have to push them well past the top of the deployment area to get them to click and stay though. They can be a pain.

weekend haul. I actually quite like broadside despite the jet mode not being very good. He seems to have better tightness in the joints than megatron as well so that's a plus

Some sweet figures you got there! Broadside looks really fun. Not sure who the green and purple one is but I like that color combo.

I have the same issue as yours, they won't lock down no matter what I try. Fortunately I like them on Broadside, so I'm okay with it.

I agree. they look daft on Megatron, but they look good for Broadside.

And switching the fins has really helped the jet mode look better. It really does

I like Titans Return Voyager Megatron quite a bit. He's easily replaced Takara Tomy's Transformers United Voyager Megatron (redecoed from his Henkei Henkei release), despite the fact that he sorely needs a nice coat of silver paint and some actual paint details in place of the crummy foil stickers. The silhouette just SELLS this thing. It's a very good "Classics" take on Megatron, giving him a very G1 robot silhouette with some smart updating, particularly for his two alt modes, which are his two most common "not a gun" alt modes over the past 30+ years. I don't get the "out of proportion" claims for this figure either. It looks right to me. The transformation is fun, even if the legs are REALLY hard to peg in right the first few times.

I'm really hoping Takara takes a stab at him and doesn't just call the mold "done" when they eventually release Blitzwing. If they're willing to at least give RiD Scourge a "Legends EX" release, while presumably Octane will get a mainline Legends release, maybe they'll be willing to double dip on the Megawing/Blitzatron mold in some way. The one caveat, of course, is that if they go the EX route for the Megatron version of the mold, they might not give him the G1 deco I want, opting instead for something more exotic, like his G2 green and purple tank color scheme. For the time being, at least, I'm happy with Hasbro's version, in spite of its flaws.

Also I have a real good feeling that Hasbro will do a G2 Megatron with that mold in one of the last two box sets yet to be revealed.

And for those thinking about swapping the fins on Broadsides jet mode, our old friend shajaki dropped this pic of his fan mode in the Collect-O-Tron the other day. I tried it out. Looks pretty good.

NIce fan mode on Broadside! His carrier and bot mode undoubtedly look cool, so really 2/3 ain't bad.

So has anyone who has Perceptor come across the titan master's head fitting WAY too tight in the body of the larger bot? Right out of the package I thought I was going to break it. The very first time I tried to remove the head, the titan mater head actually got stuck in the transtector and pulled off the titan master. I pushed it back on and was able to finally get the TM head to release by sort of wiggling it side to side while it pulled and it worked. The fit is still tight, but not nearly as bad as the original time. also, I tried putting the TM back on with the TM head rotated 180 degrees. This doesn't work as it makes the head sit too far back and it interferes with the bracket for the microscope meaning he can only look left or right, not straight ahead. I figured I'd give everyone a warning just in case this more than just a one-off on my Perceptor.

Push the plate down when it even and central holding the horns down with your finger tips then rotate the plate all the way to the left or the right it will stick then.

You can sometimes get them to stay down in the middle position by pressing and holding the button and then pushing the horns down and then releasing the button.

You know, despite having sworn off Quake initially, if I can get some better weapons for him (that is, weapons that aren't just redecoes of Hardhead's) I might very well pull the trigger on him, as it were. Those colours really rock.

Though Krok is definitely the priority.
