So here is my super city setup with all 3 city titans and all the leaders except Overlord. I'm actually oging to use this setup quite a bit between titan masters and the legends figures. I switched Skater Prime over to the Decepticons and reconfigured their side 2 and 2 instead of the lopsided version I had last. The I straightened out the donut from the Autobots fort and plopped Metroplex right in the middle of things. Things lined up nicely with the runways from Fort Max nicely positioned low and wide enough to go below the shoulders of Metroplex.





Last step was squeezing Trypticon in closer and closer. I ended up with Full Tilt lined up for what looks like a gratuitous crotch shot on Metroplex. In reality it is technically more of a butt shot, but just as immature and hilarious.

Now THAT'S a city. The non tabbed cities look good to, but this looks good and is tabbed. All you need is Overly Rd. Lol.

I don't know if any of you know about an app called Shopkick. It allows you to go to certain stores(Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Etc) and scan certain items to get points. Once you have enough points, you can redeem them for Gift cards. Every 500 points gets you $2 at Walmart or Target. 2500 gets you $10 at TRU. I've been doing this to get gift cards to buy Transformers. Well, yesterday I was up to $18 in gift cards. Didn't find anything at Target or Walmart. Then was scrolling amazon and saw Octane for $24.99. Was about to buy it and thought, I'll check to see if Shopkick does Amazon gift cards. Turns out they do! I had enough for $18 at Amazon. Unfortunately, while looking for this, I missed out on Octane at $24.99. Was thinking of getting Windblade instead, but she's also $24 on amazon, so I thought, what the hell, and I put the $18 toward Sky Shadow. So I got him for $26.99. He'll be here tomorrow! So excited! Now I have to replenish my kicks again for when I find Octane or Windblade.

Triggerhappy, Hot Rod, Twinferno wave just arrived where I live in Italy. Not sure if to say yay or if I'm just not interested enough any more..

Anyone else feel that some of the tech specs, cool as they are to have back, make absolutely no sense at all?

Like, okay. Some of them make sense. Megatron has a 10 in strength, firepower and intelligence while his speed's low? I can buy that. Rewind having high intelligence but mediocre everything else? Sure, sure.

Why does Wolfwire have a 10 in intelligence? I mean, just... what? Am I missing something? Is he a bloody genius in the Headmasters anime or something?

And why does Hot Rod have a ten in everything but speed which is a nine??? Is this supposed to be Rodimus after all? Why is his strength higher than his speed?

I love Wolfwire and overall I love the art on the profile cards in Titans Return. But Wolfwire's card art, it has a bit of an issue. The face (And this is especially noticeable on the enlarged closeup on the packaging cardback).. Between the dull surprise worthy of Pat Lee and the face being colored gray like his "helmet" instead of the proper dark red, it looks more like he has a mouthplate.

You need to get Triggerhappy and have a REAL Transformer in your collection.

Quite a lot of the card art in this line strangely has discrepancies with the corresponding toy. Megatron for instance has black legs with red insides much like his original cartoon model, but not at all like the TR Voyager. I think Galvatron was also drawn with a more IDW-esque helmet if I recall.

So finally we reached the end of the line, with no retool/repaint of Twinferno or HotRod.

Strange.

Just looking back...As cool as Twinferno is, I'd rather have Crosshairs, Pointblank and Sureshot as Deluxes replacing Twinferno, Breakaway, & Windblade. Twinferno would have worked well as a Titan Master, and the other two would be more than acceptable losses to have updated representations of the 1987 Autobot Target Masters again.

That makes me think of an interesting list we can compile, which figures had no retools/pretools/reengineered secondary bots from this line. Here is what I see (not including the Titan Master class):

Deluxe:
Weirdwolf
Mindwipe
Hot Rod

Been a while since we had that many unique molds, but within the next 2 years that could all change, since mold retooling and re-engineering is becoming better and better, and they like to add nods to other obscure characters.

I like how people complain about Twinferno being a deluxe and not a titan master, and completely ignore the fact that we didn't get a Grotesque.

Just got this guy and did a quick run through of all modes. He's awesome. I cannot wait for Overlord. So glad I got this one. Wasn't planning on doing and just getting Overlord. Great colors on him. Cool base mode. Ankle tilts! Lots of fun.

And Grotesque is probably my favorite monster bot. don't know why, but he is sort of my favorite of the 3. Still wish we can get all 3 in the same size class

Glad you like him! I find him to be the best leader figure that the line has to offer. Triggerhappy and Topspin are up there with him for best figure of the line too!

Haven't forgot about him. But I think he, Fangry, Lione, Shuffler, and Ramhorn are all on fairly equal terms. Except Shuffler and Fangry are kickass in all forms. And Lione has the best weapon/shield mode of any titan master period.

Not really, thats how it always was before Combiner Wars. I am glad we are back to that. Redecos can be fun but buying a new TF toy where you already know the transformation perfectly always gives me a lackluster feeling.

I didn't forget him, I just was stating the Deluxes I would have liked, wasn't listing Titan Masters...I had a list of Titan Masters months ago and both Doublecross Twinferno and Grotusque were on there.
