Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Speaking of can someone put the Voyager Brainstorm's guns on TR Brainstorm in both robot mode and vehicle mode with the shield from the TR version please?
william-james88 wrote:Then just say that instead of dictating what goes in who's collection.Deadput wrote:My point is that the T30 figure is much better part of a IDW collection then a Titans return/G1 collection while the TR figure fits in with other Titans Return figures.Deadput wrote:That Hot Rod is not supposed to be part of your G1 collection he is a movie figure hence he belongs to the movie collection.
Seriously, read that again and tell me that doesnt sound like you are deciding what we should do with our toys. You are free to say what you want to do with them and where you intend on placing them, but it really sounds here like you were imposing your thoughts on others. Thats not what you mean, but that is very much what it reads like. So lets all stay friendly, and simply watch that our words actually reflect what we mean.

Is there not a hole in the shield like there is with Blurr?
SillySpringer wrote:Yeah, but two wouldn't fit there.

Deadput wrote:I mean why would you put a movie figure that is obviously movie (I'm not talking about toyline only characters that fit with G1 like Lugnut and Breacher) in a G1 collection though?

No worries about the words used as long as you dont mind me pointing it out. We are all having fun here (at least I hope we all are).
I am very curious about this point though and I am getting lost a bit. What figure are we talking about, Hot Rod right? And you are talking about the G1 movie right? If so, then is the movie not part of g1? Also, how is this hot rod toy obviously from the G1 movie? He seems instead to be a neo g1 composite of several Rodimus/hot rod looks, kinda like Leader Megatron was.
I hope so too. I know I am!william-james88 wrote:We are all having fun here (at least I hope we all are).

Wow, I am super confused since when did we talk about TLK?
No need to answer, this just shows how lost I must be.

I know he's Wheelie and all, but he really is the best one we've gotten in looks and scale.Nemesis Maximo wrote: I could be persuaded to buy Wheelie just because he looks so good in that group shot.

I bet someone could find a way.
I probably have parts to build a two hole thingy for Brainstorm's shield but I own neither figure (I'm Canadian there are no Walgreen's around here)

While I don't have TR Brainstorm yet, I do have Blurr (I used to have a T30 Brainstorm, but I gave it to my cousin last month), and I find Blurr to be a lot better than T30 Brainstorm. To each his own, I guess.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:To me, the T30 version is still really awesome and probably the best of the Brainstorms
TR Blurr is better than T30 Brainstorm but that doesnt mean that every toy should be a retool of it. Because we are ignoring the awesomeoness to have dedicated molds. By the logic presented, they could redeco MP Soundwave into Blaster colours, and release that as MP Blaster and because the original mold is better than the TR leader one that would automatically make it a better Blaster figure. But thats not how it works. TR Blurr is a phenominal figure when its Blurr. It has that super smart asymetric engineering in he legs to give you that single tail fin and it has these great wheels that roll super well and the accompnaying excellent transformation to hide that middle wheel way in robot mode. Its all genius... for Blurr.
For Brainstorm, they replicate that smart transforamtion but it falls on deaf ears. Brainstorm had 2 tail fins, like most aircraft do, but now its just one sicne its a retool of Blurr. And I am sure it can still roll quite well, but its an aircaft so what is needed is some reracatble landing gear instead. Thrilling 30 Bainstorm had that. Plus, it wasnt a parts former (Brainstorm never was) and the weapons at the end of the nosecons became his own weapons in robot mode.
That thrilling 30 brainstorm is still one of the best looking TF toys I have ever owned. I love how sleek and dynamic he looks in both modes, along with his great wingspan. Plus the cockpit fully closes and is located at the back of the spacecraft.
I am sure TR Brainstorm is a good toy, but for a representation of Brainstorm, there is none better than thrilling 30
Unless of course, nobody cares about what he looked like originally.
william-james88 wrote:Titan Prime wrote:Does anyone know what the release date is for these? I'm just wondering if they will hit the shelves before or after Christmas.
Those are 2 different things. The release date isnt equal to the time you will see it on shelves. For example, the release date of Wave 2 was around August 15th but they didnt appear on shelves until later. The release date for wave 3 online should be mid to late november. But that in no way predicts when they will show up on shelves.
