Correct, as far as anyone knows - and while alpha trion being a headmaster hasn't been confirmed, I believe - the entirety of the TR line are going to be headmasters, so there's the implied answer ;)

If you look at this pictures, it appears as though there is that gap between the head and body connecting much like PW Prime's picture, thus showing off a headmaster ability.

Plus, what Screamer said. :BOT:

Best to ask sabrblade for 100% clarification.

Now on the matter of wolf lion (wolfion? Liolf? Wolion?) I still think they were going for a lion, to ensure the molds reuse (takara could of asked for it so they could turn it into lio convoy)

YOU had no problem with them Transforming into organic animals.

But I do it's just disturbing to me especially with any Transformer that turns into an organic looking Spider and snake.

I don't see the need for the bolded part...

But like I said you may find it disturbing but underneath that squishy surface layer they were still all machine :-) well, at least until transmetals came along...and the technorganics from beast machines...I'll shut up now.

Exactly sillyspringer, it's actually a throwback to the pretender line (now that was terminator for kids!) Which also gave birth to one of my favourite tf series super god masterforce. Speaking of which, how will takara handle powermaster prime? Will it be the return of super ginrai?

Probably because they plugged the sub-series name in with the character rather than the series.

Rather than "Transformers: Combiner Wars" "Bruticus" (which is more or less how packaging was done for Beast Wars, Old RID, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron) the packaging is arranged as "Transformers" "Combiner Wars: Bruticus". It's similar to how Beast Machines and Reveal the Shield figures were packaged, but with a less distinctive series emblem. It's also like that on the Voyager class figures. It'll be interesting to see if they maintain that on the Titans Return packaging, of if they go back to one of the other styles (which I prefer).

The Transmetals line was great. Wish they'd do something like that again. Uh wait, TR Alpha Trion and the Headmaster Triplechangers like Snapdragon are coming back now
And I kinda like the R.I.D. 2015 Decepticons. The concept is cool, just the execution is a bit too cartoony to my likes but yeah, they are aimed at the smaller TF fans.

The blue part between Trions head and his shoulders a blue light/energy that represents the head "docking" with the body.

That specific part of the art (the head docking) will take up like 75% of the packaging art on a deluxe card.

@ ZeroWolf: They were cyberorganic beings.

The Beast Wars season 1 Maximals? When was that stated?

The tfwiki article on the Maximals describes them essentially as Micromasters who have access to "pseudo-organic beast forms" which were "an off-shoot of earlier Pretender tech" and "sheathes the Maximal's alternate form in an artificial organic 'skin'" That sounds very true to Zerowolf was saying.

But then, what does it really mean to say "techno-organic" or "cyberorganic" anyway? The physiology of a transformer is organized (systemically arranged) with complexity comparable to or exceeding that of a terrestrial animal, plant, fungi, etc., and the Transformers themselves (whatever they are made of) are living things. So fur, scales, or chitin, Transformers meet most definitions of "organic". Really, they meet pretty much all definitions except the FDA definitions for organic products, and *maybe* the definition used in Chemistry.

Personally, the idea of a given character having a spaceship alt and a beast alt doesn't in itself bother me. Perhaps the beast alt doesn't have tissues which are especially vulnerable to the strains of space travel (i.e., maybe it's like Trypticon)? Perhaps the spaceship alt generates an energy shield to protect the Transformer's body from the environment? Or perhaps the Transformer's spaceship mode is animal-like itself (i.e., maybe it's like the Wraith Hive Ships from Stargate)?

Organic material was supposed to block the high levels of Energon present in prehistoric earth. I wouldn't mind if they continued this concept with Alpha Trion, either in the bio or in the fiction. (Actually, that won't matter because I'll likely continue that in my head cannon anyway. :-D )

Look what I highlighted in ZeroWolf's post ;)
Transformers are built like organic beings but they are not made of organic materials.
So I think the thing with cyber- or techno-organic is that they are made of artificial and organic material.

Possibly, Hasbro said they are wanting to do all of the different "Master" classes in this 3 series line. (Combiner Wars, Titans Return, and possibly another line later.)

The third one will be Titan Wars ;) (confirmed at BotCon 2015)
I don't need more Targetmasters. Technically we already got them in the CW line with Powerglide, Viper and Shockwave. And are Pretenders "Masters"? What else do we have? Powermasters, Turbomasters, Micromasters, ...

Powermasters, ...

Brainmasters? Minicons?

Brainmasters. That totally passed me. Could you name one?
And Mini-Cons are a type of Masters?

I believe we have been riding under the impression "Titan wars" was the initial name but titans return was the final name. however, I welcome a titan wars line after this. That would be a cool name, but who knows :BOT:

The four main Brainmasters is what I was thinking. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Brainmaster

And no, Minicons are not in the "masters" group, but they are a cool gimmick I want to come back that wouldn't be hard to integrate into one of these lines.

Starsaber should be a titan class figure while the others be leader classes.
