Why would they use a ko upscale? Also it's highly unlikely that they would try to reuse the energon mould in that fashion. You're not giving the designers enough credit

+ since you so elegantly forecast....that an Omega won't be out til 2018(which btw i'd like to know how you supposedly know that & where your getting your info from?) so the designers haven't probably even started working on it yet! therefore nothing tangible there to give credit for!

My guess is based off the following:

The choices for the fan based poll were Trypticon (who won), omega supreme and Scorpoknoc. Something Off Struck me about those choices, being that they are the rivals of the currently known about/or released titans. So we know that omega and Scorpoknoc are on the radar for titan releases.

The next bit is knowing that so far through serendipity or otherwise, the titan class releases have been autobot, deception, autobot (fortress maximus) and then in 2017, another decepticon.

So if that pattern is a pattern then 2018 will see another autobot, but of the two bots left, which is the autobot. ..oh wait omega supreme

So that's how I came to the conclusion of my guess. Will I be right? Will I be wrong? Who knows? But there are a few certainties we can take like them not using the energon mould or up scaling it like a ko company.

Also you were being dismissive to the designers for suggesting they take the easy way out

now now...not necessarily! coz the other Autobot may be Grandus! now granted nothing has been mentioned to suggest there's going to be a Grandus! but it's always a possibility? or it may be a new Citybot? seeing as lately we've been getting the odd new character turn up in recent times(Rook, Alpha Bravo, Betatron & Sky Reign)

now....as for being dismissive! erm....who else also suggested a similar thing?........that's right.....Hellscream! now granted it were the YOTS version! & yes...yaddad yadda! i don't care if it were Hasbro, Takara, a 3rd party company or even some alien race that designed it! the point being that the mold originated FROM that Energon Omega! in which he were suggesting!

That's awesome! I too am looking at getting a bunch of Gnaws. But first, I need to see what they look like before I get too many. Regardless, I'll get 3 for sure. I wonder if they will consider a legends Allicon?

Stu, the reason ZW is suspecting that it will be Omega or Scorponok is because they were the other Titans in the fan vote. And every figure has a two-year production cycle. If the poll was in late 2015, and the winner will be released mid-2017, then all three had to have at least some work done on them. The poll was likely to decide which one came first.

Technically, I was dismissing everything you said in that statement, I don't believe for a second any of those options will happen, but was only a logical inclusion because it was serviceable enough to be a G1 figure and it would've explained the retooling.

If you're going to throw out insults, or random thoughts and then tout them as speculation, or back-handed arguments - with minimal amounts of support to back any of them up, you shouldn't be surprised when people to tear apart said arguments

You also need to learn/understand that just because someone counters your unsubstantiated idea's DOESN'T mean they're attacking you

There is a colossal difference between taking a chance on $15-$25 figures and making a $180 cinder block that's obscure even among Transformers fans. Even IDW hasn't touched the guy and Hasbro has shown no interest in Return of Convoy (aside from so vague Star Convoy repaints). I highly doubt we'll ever see Grandus from Hasbro when we haven't even seen a character like Metro Titan that IDW has used and Hasbro has already molded. When it comes to Titans Hasbro has only shown interest in sure things and that's not Grandus.

I hope he is, I just could see Hasbro screwing us over. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely going to buy Crashbash and his awesome integration of his Headmaster (dino-arms and bottom jaw!), but I don't want two of him.

I am still banking on the idea of Hasbro releasing Nightbeat in a deluxe body with the Titan Master from Loudmouth and Siren with the Titan Master from Nightbeat. Same goes for the other Titan Masters.

There have been indications of a Legends Gnaw since well before Titan Masters in 2013 (along with Brawn) so it's very unlikely to be a Titan Master. Back then the original Legends class jumped from #010 Gears & Eclipse to #018 Nemesis Prime & Spinister leaving out #011 to #017 which would mean that seven more unseen figures were planned. Gnaw, having been named, was likely further in development than most of the others since the line in that format finished with repaints. I'm thinking Bombshell and Kickback were meant to be released in that gap as well.

The source probably didn't want to spill everything at one time. There could be another rumor by next week's podcast.

I'm kind of hoping Gnaw has a third mode as a morning-star or club. I mean, his a big ball of teeth with a tail, he already looks like one. Plus, his weapon is a flail/club, so it'd be kind of funny.
